Great maps. Thank you Marc. I purchased some maps of the area but these are great. Looking forward to this trip very much. You will not believe how Brayden has grown and matured.

For conversation and a 7 up. Would not let the 16 year old have anything stronger. We will need to get extra potato chips if he is there however. Got some new great waterproof pants on sale down in New Zealand a few weeks back.

This should be one of the greatest if not the greatest cruise of all time.

I haven't seen any for the summer. Looking at past summer ice in canadian archipelago, it doesn't appear to really start melting until end of June; unless it is a real warm spring, I wonder how accurate any spring forecast can be. I found a couple more sites to track but still no forecast.

Here is one of the new sites I have found:

So nice to have you on the trip Marc, you can keep us posted on the "conditions". I loved that BLOG particularly the report about how many polar bears are in this region. Somehow seeing a polar bear in the Northwest Passage is better than seeing one in Churchill or Svalbard.

You are right Ralph, this should be a trip of a lifetime! Marc and I are both so looking forward to this one.

I hadn't realized Braden is only 16! He is such a gentleman already! It will be great to see him again.
