Yesterday we received invoice for our final payment due for PAGODA. We're so excited about this upcoming cruise (though we feel like we just got off MARINER). Tom & I started reminiscing about all the wonderful escorted cruises we've been on. We've been to soooooo many places in the world, it now really boils down to the wonderful group we travel with. We have done many in the past and most likely in our future, will only do Ngaire & Ken's escorted cruises. They are always the BEST. Cheers to Ngaire & Ken and all the BK staff for making Tom & I so happy.

I know just what you mean Marcie! I don't think Marc and I have been on a single unescorted cruise in 8 or 9 years. There is just something more special when she puts together a group. It just isn't the same without Ngaire and Ken with us. I remember when we did our first Radisson cruise and I wanted to be all romantic and be by ourselves. The next Radisson cruise we took was with Ngaire and Ken on VOF (More or less the first LCT group cruise I think) and we have not done an unescorted cruise since. That is one reason we stick with Regent rather than moving to other lines even though we might find "better deals" elsewhere. You are right Marcie, nothing is better than our LCT group cruises with Ngaire and Ken IMHO.

Ngaire and Ken are just the best.

Marcie, thanks for starting this thread! I never realized what a long lasting impact these cruises with BK would have on my "leisure time", my life, actually. So many new friends, and now old ones that seem like family. At first I was cruising with one or some of my children, and before you know it, they were out of college, and now most of my non-family vacation time is worked around where Ngaire is taking us next! Can't begin to name them all, but those BK cruises have planted so many fond memories in my head (haha, my brother fondly calls this my "cult") and I'm always looking forward to the next one. So yes, cheers to Ngaire and Ken, and all the wonderful people at BK!

agree totally, we have met the nicest and best people cruising with the escorted groups. And now our friends Jack and Laura are hooked as well and love traveling with the group.

You know this goes both ways we adore all the fantastic people that we get the opportunity to sail with and get to know so well.
We took a cruise just the two of us a couple of years ago to check out another line and we were so LONELY. We used to always vacation alone but now it is just not the same without "the group"
Our social life evolves around the LCT family. Our favorite part of any trip is the people! We have made so many truly close and wonderful friends we cannot imagine how different our lives would have been had we not started this venture. Thanks goodness Ken pushed me to do this - he always has good ideas
So our thanks go out to all of YOU as it is really not Ken and me that make these trips so much fun it is all the people that make up the group on that trip that makes the magic and that is each and everyone of YOU.

You are exactly right, Ngaire! The friends we make, and meet again, on our cruises make all the difference between a good time and a GREAT time traveling and exploring. Can't wait to sail again with you and Ken, and the rest of the LCT gang! Tim and Penny

We've also only done Ngaire and Ken cruises on Regent since VOF. Have done 3 river cruises and a Seabourn by ourselves though and have enjoyed them but it's just so different.
