We are staying one night post cruise in Copenhagen, only because we couldn't avoid it. the airlines are the boss sometimes..... I am normally opposed to post cruise nights, once that bag goes in the hall, I see myself home!! Copenhagen promises to change my thought process however..... Hi Anne!!

Unsure where we are staying as yet, it is on my never ending to do list!!

Thanks, Anne...as soon as I know what hotel I will let you know. Our travel agent has recommended the Hotel D'Angleterre to friends, who loved it. Has anyone in the board stayed there?

When we booked this cruise in late February, I think, it seemed forever away....and now it's only about 9 months! I am getting excited!

Cindy...originally we had planned to stay in Copenhagen precruise after 5 nights in London, but snagging business class seats on AA with frequent flier miles meant we had to change our plans too....perhaps we'll meet up in the city post cruise!

Talked to B&K today and Fjords is sold out cruise - it seems so far away but "been there felt that" - all of a sudden it is a month away!!!

I'm not surprised it is sold out. It's the
best cruise I think I've ever taken (lots come in a close second), but I'm more into natural scenery than towers and cathedrals and cities. I also love sea days, but you will get them anyway on a longer cruise. Only itineraries I've ever repeated (Alaska and Med) were because of the people! This is a wonderful combination of both!

I'm looking forward to all my future cruises!

I convinced Tony we had to take Fjords based on your rave review from past trip and the fact Joanna wanted to do it again - -although he is happy being with friends on any ship -

I can't wait for this cruise! I've always wanted to do this itinerary. Olivia, your enthusiasm makes me want to go even more, plus the chance to finally meet Joanna, Tony plus the rest of the LCT crowd.

We still have not been able to change our flight back to Saturday so we are now at Copenhagen Airport Hilton one night post-cruise in addition to the two night pre-cruise at Scandic Weber.

I'm at Scandic Weber for the 22nd. Need to book a hotel for the night of the 7th, as I can't get air until the following morning.

We're going in & out of London, so will fly on the 7th back to London. I am feeling adventurous & would like to cut down on the cost of the airfare. We're going to take a plunge and fly Silverjet. It's a fairly new carrier out of London-Luton. Planes are 767 with 100 seats, all-business class configuration . It's the only one that flies out of Newark. It's one of the few years I can afford to not accrue the actual mileage towards elite status (thank you Juan Pablo and the trip to South America!)

We'll let you know how it goes.

We're flying in on the 21st non-stop from Atl. Arrive 9am. and staying 2 nights at the Copenhagen Marriott Hotel. No post cruise plans. Flight leaves Copenhagen the 7th of July at 11am.

We are on Suzie's flight into CPH two nights SW and leave CPH July 7 for Rome -

I'm still at the Marriott on June 22nd. I'm flying from LHR on British Airways, and am scheduled to arrive in CPH at 12:45 pm. I depart CPH on the 7th at 1:55 pm.

We must be on the same flight from Heathrow, Andrea; we fly from ABQ via Chicago and LHR, arriving on the 22nd and staying at the Marriott. Lets share a cab.

We fly from Copenhagen to Geneva around 2 PM on the 7th and will spend a week in the French Alps as our post.

We fly to Copenhagen via Amsterdam on the 22nd arriving at 11:25am. Anyone else on this flight? We are also at the Scandic Weber for one night and flying out on the 7th at 1:45pm. I hope I did not cut that too close!

We're coming into CPH from Zurich on 6/22, arriving 7:20 p.m. Overnight at the Marriott. (1 week pre-cruise in Lake Como, Italy & surroundings.)
2 nights post at CPH-Le Meridian (joining the "stuck in CPH Club" :rolleyes: )7/7-7/9. Depart CPH 7/9 for LAX on SWiSS @ 9:40 a.m. (If any of you miss your flights out on the 7th, we'll keep the light on for ya!)

I'm taking RSSC air so I will arrive and leave when they tell me to. No pre or post planned.

Suzanne, please let them deliver you to us if we are awake for a pub crawl the night before! Have a feeling you will be coming on day of cruise!

We're on the same Delta flight from Atlanta as Suzie and Joanna with 2 nights pre-cruise at Hilton Scandic Weber. On July 7th we fly to Rome at 1:30 (? going by memory)

Well, we are not going on to Rome but Olivia, sure hope we can enjoy the Pub Crawl the night before we sail!!!

Cindy and David, get yourself to the Scandia place, and you surely will find a pub crawl! The Mondaes and Matassa's (and maybe you!) will have already been there for a night! I will be coming in on the 22nd in the a.m. after an overnight passage. Trying to do what I can to make that more pleasant!

We are up for the pub crawl, too. Of course, since Voyager is in port night of 22nd, might not be a bad idea to get an extra meal onboard.

We have one night post also at Le Meridien, so Don and Michelle we are at the same hotel.

The Hull clan is flying Lufthansa, LAX/Munich/Copenhagen, arriving on the 22nd, 4:25 pm. Staying at the Marriott. We leave the day the cruise ends, 3:50 pm Scandanvian Airlines, Copenhagen/Seattle/LAX.

:) Alert - Copenhagen Marriott rate drop :)

Two years ago when we went on a Voyager Baltics cruise I made a post cruise reservation at the Marriott closer to departure after I saw the rates drop. I made a note on my calendar to double check if that was the case again this year.

When I checked this morning the rates were substantially lower than when I booked last summer - I was holding a rate of 2095 DKK, not including breakfast. Now the rate is 1499 DKK and includes breakfast, or you can stay on the club floor for 1799 DKK.

I just had them amend my reservation to the 1499 DKK and kept the guarantee of a king bed, non smoking, water view.

I assume I will be on the last "pub crawl", since I am also at the Airport Hilton post cruise. Glad I am in the company of Marc and Arlene who have early flights next day, and they will guide me back to the hotel at a reasonable hour.
