I really don't care where we are.
Would be a nice surprise if it would happen to be
something we don't expect. :D

WOW!
Now wouldn't that be something!
The way our luck goes we will probably be in "H" cabin even though we are GTY G.
We would not mind that at all since we like "H" cabins aboard the Mariner so maybe that would not be a negative. ;)

Hurrah Jim - glad you got your cabin - you can put the tents away, although they might be fun.
We are in 833 - we decided to change our room type.
Really looking forward to meeting everyone!! Think we can get any Packer games on satellite?

And best of all - glass enclosed shower stall. It's actually happening. I was beginning to wonder.

Glad to read everyone now has a suite #, but tent pics sure would have been nice to see when you send us Sea Mail! ;)

Can't believe it's November already with just days left until the trip. My cousin, of the same name, will be coming along as well. We have been assigned rooms 819 and 823. We tried to get two side by side suites but I guess the ship is full up, particularly Category's D through H.

He will be arriving in Auckland on the first and I on the 2nd. We do plan to join the LCT'ers for dinner at Orbit's on the 2nd.

Starting to think about packing - can you believe it? I normally pack "on the way to the airport", but this trip is so much longer than most and my regular philosophy of "You can buy whatever you need when you get there, now just go!", doesn't seem to work as well in addressing formal nights on a cruise ship. Should be fun!

John

Yeah John! I am getting pretty excited about this trip. I have all the dry cleaning done so all that is left to do is to pack and go and I am itching to get going! Just two more segments to follow and then we get to get on the ship. I hope some of the folks on the segments after Jan and Fred's will post, I love hearing how the ship is doing before it gets to us!

Haven't heard about our docs yet.It will be interesting to seee what happens, as our bookings have to go through Regents Australian Reps office, and then on to NZ ,so I imagine the tickets will come from Sydney.

Jim & Jan B - right across from our cabin 966 on PANDA. It's a great location on the ship!

Any cabin assignments for the remaining guaranty refugees?

Question: What are the best times to book the alternative dining rooms? The nights of excursion days? or sea days ? I usually line up to book them for the two of us but thats dumb,I know. It's closing in quickly for Lamb and I'm still not sure. Does any of you experienced South Seas cruisers have any suggestions?

confused

Well others may have a better opinion.
Captain's welcome aboard party is not a good night
if you like Lobster served in Compass Rose.
Country club casual nights are not good for Signatures in less you mind wearing informal.
SO that leaves the other 3 formal nights, and all the informal nights for Signatuires. Latitudes I think you could do when ever you feel like it.

Jim, I agree with you. On Capt's welcome and also goodby party, you miss Compass Rose's best choices if you go to one of the other restaurants.

I will have a cabin list and information on all B&K clients on embarkation. You can just add the cabin numbers of LCT'ers or people that you meet that are not B&K to that list that may be missing.
