It's your old neighbor, again...My sister lived on Crest Drive for years. She lived in a rented little cottage down a long driveway. I was raised at 1372 Justin Road, and walked across what was once a field to the high school. Crest drive was always so beautiful! Lots of trees and greenery. I've made it back for my 10th and 30th high school reunions, (I'm age 57). Lots of the people stayed in the area. When I moved from the Boston area with my folks in 1957, there were only 2500 people in Cardiff - big difference, now! Take care, it will be good to talk about the area with you. Jini

Sorry to say we had to cancel our LAMB cruise today due to our 9 year old Standard Poodle being diagnosed with Lymphoma three months ago. She is getting chemo but just can not leave her for three weeks for the cruise. We were so looking forward to meeting all of our new LCT friends & spending time with all of you. We will be thinking about all of you and taking the cruise through your posts.

The Montana North Dakota All Star Football Game
or better know as "BADLANDS BOWL" It is played the 3rd weekend in June. Odd years in Miles City Montana and even years in Dickinson North Dakota. 34 high school graduated senior players from each state are selected by coaches to play in the game. Just finished our 14th game this past June.
We give $2,500 to Special Olympics in each state from proceeds.
We have lots of jobs preparing for the games. Actually start about two weeks after a game is played. Get real serious about December 1st.

First off thanks to Jim for adding me and Barry to the growing Roll Call list.It was very quiet over on the CC board.
We are both looking forward to meeting you all on this great cruise.We really enjoy the longer cruises and most of our voyages have been on ships as they either come to, or depart our shores.This will be our second Regent cruise,but the first full voyage as our previous experience on Mariner was just a "Taster".We live north of Auckland and it will be just a short drive to join the ship on departure day.
Starting to count the days now,

Yes,the flight home is the only downside for us.
Barry and I are not looking forward to LAX right on Christmas. We fly out on Friday night,the 21st , and arrive back in Auckland early on Sunday 23rd.

The larger cruise ships usually anchor in Opunohu Bay,so you could be looking at the Sheraton in that shot.

Have you gone to www.rssc.com and looked at your personal itinerary for our 12/03/07 19 night cruise?
Find it interesting that it is now showing 18 nights.
When you go to the arrival / Departure and count how many nights it looks like we are aboard the ship it is 18. Oh well. (I think they forgot about the International date line or something).

Jim, I noticed that but from the beginning when they had 19 nights listed, I could never figure out how they arrived at 19 as I could only ever count 18 :)

I am still working on 19 nights.
Don't forget you will have Wednesday ,
Dec 5th, twice .Both days at sea.

David, that reminds me of groundhog day! Let's hope it's a good day since we will have it twice! How unusual that we have two formal nights in a row.

Don & I booked LAMB (a while ago) thanks to the encouragement of our friends, Kathy & John (Harbormaster), who are also on LAMB. We weren't sure we were going to be able to make it due to a potential 2nd rotator cuff surgery.... I got the word today that I don't have to have that 2nd surgery so we are clear to go. :)
