Any recommendations for either of these cities pre and post cruise?
We would like casual, fun places ideally within walking distance. Not fancy fancy or $$$$ "fine dining" My daughters don't eat red meat.
In Barcelona, we will be at the top of Las Ramblas (Le Meridien) and in Istanbul, in the Sultanahmet area at a small hotel. Thanks!

When we did 007 I liked that place that Todd took us too.. I am sure he will chime in.. Las Caricolas or something right of Las Ramblas if I remember correctly..

I wasn't with you, we were on a barcelonataxi tour that day. LOL, when I google that, it is a condo for rent ;) So Todd, you need to chime in like Frank said!

We had a nice restaurant on the roof overlooking the park and harbor at the Sirkecki Konak. It is in the area you are staying. Food was yummy.

Todd, good choice, we ate there when Grey Gypsy (Jeff & Susan)introduced us to their fav Barca restaurant to have Paella. We boarded the Voyager for our crossing the next day.

In Barcelona, we ate at the restauRant that is at the back of La Boqueiria market. If you go in the the front , walk all the way through and out the ack, turn right, and there is a wonderful restaurant with amazing fresh food and cheap prices.
In Istanbul, re Kosidashi really good Turkish food. There are several locations.
