Sorry if someone started this, but if they did, I didn't see it. I arrived with no problems. The ship is close to the airport. I had a pleasant Jamaican driver.

I arrived at 11:20. They are letting us board at noon.

Sue and her bunch arrived 15 min later.

They are boarding by row.

Hi,

You are probably onboared now, having a nice lunch!

What do you mean "they are boarding by row"?? Just like an airplane? :D

Maria, we boarded by row for TAP. Our cruise started at the end of the WC, and we were held in some huge hangar type building until the ship was ready. When it was time to board, they first took the wheelchairs, then row by row to keep some order.

That describes it exactly.

I had lunch alone, salad and fruit. Then I went all over and took pics and then sat with Beth, Crystal and Diane. Another lady they met joined.

The stewardess just said you can never get more wine by the bottle after two and same with liquor. Of course I am alone and this is a short cruise but I know this is a huge debate on cc.

The people next door are very loud. Have kids and screaming and banging with excitement.

Going to go sign up for the spa.

The ship is pretty and the flat tvs are in. Pool looks crappy but all else looks great.

Service and embarkation were good. More what I had expected on Voyager.

I hope your loud neighbors quieten down a lot! I never thought about it, but this would be the perfect cruise for kids.

I'm 'all ears' for any update you can see, especially to see if the interactive televisions are really interactive.

I agree that the pool isn't pretty at all, but it's a happy, friendly ship.

They have two hot tubs that look inviting.

Had sail away chat with Beth, Crystal, Diane and Wes. Sue, Tom and their friends were down there, too.

Ida was at the spa.

Anthony and Paige have not been met by most, but Wes did meet them.

Besides the band music, they also did bagpipes.

Joanna, the pool just looks like it needs a new coat of paint or something. Not ugly, just not gorgeous. The hot tubs are pretty.

We had Captain Jarlsen, so I guess he went on leave during drydock or something.

I am having the most wonderful time. Crystal, Beth, Debbie, Wes, and Ida are just as lovely as could be. I think this is a CUI post. Had cosmo with Beth and Crystal. At dinner, they fill your wine glass without you even noticing. We had dinner with ScottSanfellipo (?) who is a poster on cc. I lost Beth at the slots. I think she is now watching the Las Vegas show. Soon we will go to Karaoke, where I hope Beth will perform. Wes is a doll and is posting right next to me.

More tomorrow.

What a great bunch.

Great to be onboard the Nav again!

As Debbie said above, we had a nice sail away after getting to know each other... Diane and I soon realized we are on Cross#2 next
November...shortly after boarding, I saw many Regent corporate types onboard they had name tags..so I approached a Finance pro, Scott--told him we were glad to be back on board the Nav...but would he carry a message to Mark Conroy for me...over two years ago I asked Mark to look at a Military discount program and asked Scott to check with Mark on the status...Scott said Mark was down in the Compass Room--being bashful I gave up..NOT..I belined for the Compass Room and found Mark outstide..introduced myself..he immediately recognized my name--said it was good to put a name to a face--Mark then introcuded me to the Nav Captain McNeil and said I was a friend of Regent...asked Mark about the mil discount program (not for this crusty old Colonel) but for the combat vets from Afghanistan and Iraq...Mark said he though he answered me, I said he passed the query on to Andrew Poulton, but I had not heard an answer...he told me he would get me an answer.

Am sitting next to coffee cup (diane) as we peck away on our free internet access before we go to
Karoke to listen to Beth.

More later...No Namer's are having a blast.

Hi All,

I am finally checking in. Crystal and I met up at the airport and took a cab to the terminal. Saw Sue and Diane and recognized them immediately. Hugs and kisses all around.

We loved Cpat. MacNeill's bagpipes at sailaway as we waved to BettyK and Wendy. Hope you all saw us.

We have enjoyed dinner and all the wine. Saw the new Vegas show and off to karaoke.... maybe!!
Wes and Ida are our wonderful across the hall neighbors. Ida got a great 2 for 1 deal at the spa today.... She's a new woman. WE ALL LOOK FABULOUS!!!!

Debbie brought dates for all of us.

I am signing out so Crystal can now chat.

We had a bunch of us dictating and chatting the mails. Some more will make sense later.

At or dinner table we had the 4 solo girls and Scott and his business partner and a nice couple. I had sweet potato soup, spinach salad and had mussels as an appetizer.

We broke up at showtime. Crystal and I saw the show with Scott and his friend. The ship is rocky, and one dancer fell. She was amazing about it. The show was Vintage Vegas and was 50 min.

Next we ran into Beth and picked up Diane at the internet place. We joined wes and Ida.

No lct singers, but some of us danced the night away with Ida and I closing the joint down at 1:30m crystal left right before that.

I have a spa thing at 9.

Debbie,
I'm surprised you can't get more wine or liquor for the room after the first 2 - the Mariner let us get as much as we wanted. If the stewardess won't get it, try room service or, for wine, ask the sommelier to send a bottle of your favorite to your room - it works on the other ships.

Good morning from sunny Key West where it's 78* this AM. Last night was loads of fun. We all passed on Karaoke, as we couldn't decide on a song we all wanted to sing.

Some of the staff on the ship right now are Capt. MacNeill, Guisseippe (sp), Lynn Marsden is the Cruise Consultant and Paul Reynolds is CD. Arnold went on vacation last week when the ship went into dry dock, but Mario is here in the dining room.

Have a small world story for you. Being as Wes is in the army and lives in GA, I asked if he knew a particular Col. friend of my brother's from high school. Yes, of course, I know Bruce, he said and went to email him. My brother was first string center on the football team, and his friend, Bruce was second. Wes and Ida are so much fun. I hope you all get a chance to cruise with them sometime.

Haven't had a Paige and Anthony spotting yet, but Wes & Ida have seen them.

More later.......

Hi everyone.
Crystal and I are now accomplished parasailers. Boy, was it windy! Glad to have done it, but not again for me.
Beautiful here. We must be behind the storms. Wonder how the Voyager is doing.

Hi everybody , glad that you are having fantastic weather and fun times!

Regarding the wine for your cabin... agree with what Jim says in his above post. During CROSS one evening we complimented the sommelier on the choice of wine and he sent us a bottle to each of our cabins.

Hi, just spoke with Paige and Anthony...they walked around key west this a.m., and did the 86 steps up the lighthouse...they are really enjoying this cruise by themselves as their parents are watching their children...they're relishing the Regent experience now, as they have a Royal Carib and Disney (for their kids)
next year....Ida and I did the White Knuckle Boat Thrill Ride...was a blast--we both got totally soaked...Saw Crystal before she went parasailing (that's Beth's post above..don't know how she posted as me, but what a coincidence having Bruce as a good mutual friend)...Debbie suprised us (when we got back from the boat ride)with a very nice Christmas Card (resting on our cabin door) w/CD and Dates from her last cruise---what a great holiday gesture!

Beth and I did the aquarium. The 3 girks and I had breakfast, and Diane and Beth and I had lunch with Ida and Wes at the next table.

No Sue spotting today but we hope to see them at trivia.

Crystal and Diane looked beautiful after their parasail. Cheaper than my facial. I loved it but would only have been happy with the opening day price I got.

The spa was redone at dry dock. The steam room looks inviting.

Nobody tried to sell me anything.

I just opened the foirst wine and will not run out. I am just saying the stewardess said it would have to be by the glass thru room service. My suspicion is she doesn't know. This topic is widely debated on CC, and I can see why.

Hi Everyone - we are having a wonderful time! It was so great to meet everyone yesterday - such nice people with smiling faces.

Sailaway was marvelous with the bagpipes playing. Dinner in CR was fantastic - I missed the show because I had a touch of the flu from dinner the night before in FLL - something did NOT set right with my tummy. I am much better now and ready to ROCK and ROLL this evening!

We did the Orchid Tour in Key West - very lovely gardens and lots of walking. After that we had a bite to eat of fish/chips and purchased a few souvernirs.

We came back to our suite to find a GREAT No-Name door tag from Beth and a lovely holiday card with a music cd and some dates from Debbie. Both so thoughtful!

We were out by the pool for a bit, but the sun got too hot so now I am going to sit on the balcony and people watch. Tom rec'd a shipboard credit from his employees as a Christmas gift so he is off to the spa while I am at trivia.

I wish this cruise was longer then 3 nights - we are making the most of every minute.

Hugs,
Sue & Tom

Sounds like you are all having a great time, No Namers! Capt. McNeill is wonderful, isn't he? I just recall from our Med cruise that he was ALWAYS smiling, the friendliest captain I have ever seen.

I love my door sign.

Ida played the Cd already. I brought them in case people wanted to be festive. We have loved the Christmas decor and I loved the Christmas musuc the shops had on in Key West.

I walked to the Truman House Muesum but by then the cobblestone had done me in.

I think we all are enjoying every minute. I am going to get in the hot tub and then go to trivia.

The show tonight is Motown. I hope to get to the casino tonight and to nbe abke to keep up withb Ida. I am still dealing with jetlag but getting better.

I am probably going to Atlantis or Crystal Palace tomorrow. We only have 4 hrs in Nassau.

Key West is lovely... think I'll come back next year!! Yes, on my Jan. 18th Navigator cruise.

Kristin, Capt. MacNeill is very nice. Haven't had a chance to say HI yet, but maybe tonight at the Welcome Aboard prty.

Crystal and I are invited to have dinner with Guissseppie (sp.) tonight. I know we will enjoy that.

Oh, last night's post was a "pui" one.... sorry cheer All that bad influence from the LAMBsters.

Diane and I walked around after lunch. This is such an easy port to walk around. We found Sloppy Joe's, though no stalking this time.

More later...............

Thanks so much for the sea mail. It's just amazing what one can enjoy in a short period of time with great company and crew. I haven't sailed with Capt. MacNeil .. may be in 2009?

Cheers, Anne

Who is the cruise director? If it's John Barron, please give him my best. He and his wife are such a beautiful and lovely couple. And tell him thanks for getting me hooked on Metropolitans...like a Cosmo but...well, he'd have to explain the difference.

The captain came out tonight in a kilt.

Diane and I joined two other ladies for dinner. It was lobster night. I was supposed to join her in the casino but stopped to chat with Wes and Ida and another couple. When I went to the casino, Diane was gone. I took a 2 hour nap and then stay at the disco until 2 am.

Tomorrow they have Beatlemania with a live band. During the day they are having a Tex Mex thing and at dinner we have our LCT plus others Portofinos.

This has really been a fun cruise.

This is still a terrific cruise.

By the way, the post from Wes about the parasailing was really from me.

Beautiful, if windy, day today. Slots open at 10 am and bingo at 11. The off to walk around and be back in time for trivia.

Kathy thanks for letting us know about the RAIN! We sure need it.

No-Name continues to be a lot of fun. CR dinner was yummy as ever with lobster. The Motown Hits show was very good.

Our trivia team took 2nd place (with a few other teams). They do 15 questions not 10 like on Voyager.

The Cruise Director is Paul - not John Barron.

The auction has a Brett Favre jersey, but they want $990 for the opening bid...we left before it began as that was too much $$$$. ;>

We are off to bingo in a few minutes and should be in Nassau by 11 a.m.

Haven't met Anthony/Paige. This evening is the LCT dinner that I am sure will be loads of fun. All the LCT folks are great.

More later....

Just finished shopping in the boutique with Beth, Diane and Debbie, after a leisurely breakfast with them (and Wes joined us later). What terrific people to be sailing with! Ida,Sue and Tom are great as well (just not at breakfast).

I see my cruisemates have been nice enough not to out me about yesterday, but I'll tell on myself. After parasailing, I spent the whole day and evening in the cabin: either a 24-hour stomach bug or the mother of all hangovers. Either way, the effect was less than pleasant. But I did get in that parasailing before my stomach got the better of me. Diane and I went up tandem--they wouldn't let anyone go up alone due to the high winds. There were a couple of moments up there where the winds were pretty unnerving. But Diane is a gutsy woman, and I guess I might be too, so we overcame. And we were soooooo graceful on landing.

The only real complaint I have about this cruise is that it's TOO DARNED SHORT. I can't believe we're already getting off tomorrow. It's been a great time, and the company has been stellar. Crusing with LCTers is the way to go!

Continuing to be the best ever experience.
Poor Crystal has been brave in many ways.
She seems pretty much all recovered now, and is out snorkeling
I am getting ready for trivia. Sue's friend Donno won part of the bingo jackpot this morning. I am losing my touch at slots
Tonight is portofinos. They could not place our three tables close to one another, so we will just have to wave at each other.

I second Crystal--the company here has really been stellar. We were discussing this yesterday--what is it about lct that has everyone participating being such good, quality people? Not a clinker in sight.

A beautiful day, weather-wise. Sunny, but enough clouds that the sun wasn't intense. It's very windy here in Nassau, and so the water was pretty choppy. They couldn't take us to the primo snorkeling spot because of the wind and waves, so went to their "backup" spot. Not one of the nicer reefs I've seen, but it was still enjoyable to get out in the water and watch the fishies. A beautiful sail back, with rainbow guiding our way.

Tonight is our LCT dinner in Portofino's, as mentioned above.

For some odd reason, they've delivered disembarkation instructions to our room. Apparently, they expect us to get off tomorrow. How very strange--I'm ready to keep going for a few months.

Victor!! Surely they can get you on a flight in the morning. My daughter is flying in tomorrow from Vancouver, I've beem frantically checking (Westjet, granted) flights today....and to my surprise, with the exception of flights to and from the Eastern Seaboard, it was amazingly good today at the airport. Check Westjet. The planes came, the planes left...get on a plane!!! Say hi to Pedro and Alessandro from Wendy and I, we're counting on it.

Get out of this city. I had to be at work at 0600 this morning (can you imagine what time I got up at, what time I left...), and I work again tomorrow. I'm in Emergency Services, so it's been nothing but fun, fun, fun!!!! When they say "don't drive unless absolutely necessary", I'm one of the "absolute necessary". Sob, sniff. Ambulances stuck in snowbanks, Firetrucks going to rescue them, and getting stuck in snowbanks. In fact, snowplows getting stuck in snowbanks (I'm not making this up).

You must get on a plane, and have a drink for me in warmth, on my favourite ship!!

I keep forgetting to ask about the boutique; is it still Evoke, with bargain basement pricing, or did the new people take over during dry dock?
