Aloha
Susan, enjoyed reading your posts, thanks. Hoping the weather gets a little better since Christina and I will be joining the Voyager in Auckland in 2 weeks. You can tell the crew to look out because trouble is on the way.

Susan, really enjoying your posts. We did the same excursion you did in Townsville, last February on KANGAROO. That croc or gator in the last picture? He nipped at one of the handler's rear end and tore his pants and drew blood. I will never forget how scary it was to watch.

Diane,
The pub was a huge tourist attraction. Not exactly my style but they advertised their brew would take care of toads and all sorts of ailments. The drive into the countryside was very interesting but the Australia Zoo was a bit disappointing as Lee indicated it is quite commercial. There was a tiger exhibit that was quite interesting and we spent most of the time watching them interact with their trainers. They were adorable if that is how one can describe a tiger. We were able to see the Paul Gauguin, which is in dry dock in Brisbane.
One thing I forgot to mention is that we had a Great Barrier Reef Pilot Captain commentating for several days as we sailed the reef. His discussion was quite interesting.
J&C come on down. Wish I was here to meet you. While it has threatened to rain every day we have been fortunate and very little actual rain during the day. Hope the same holds true for you.
Tonight is farewell dinner so I have to run but I will post our last pictures tomorrow.
Susan

Great photos David - it was too early for me! Pity they couldn't berth at Circular Quay. The day has been cloudy but no rain (as yet) and the temperature is very pleasant. The sun is trying to peak through as I type! Lee
