Well two weeks from today we will be boarding the Regatta! Yipee!! :banana: :banana:
It will be fun trying a new cruise line.
And, after last nights storm, looking forward to warm weather, sandals, capri's and shorts!!
I've heard the internet rates on Oceania are really expensive - like .95 a minute!!! But maybe they will have packages and we can get one of those and I'll be able to post along the way.
Bought two new pairs of shoes yesterday!!! :ohmy:

Yes, their pricing is high.. and connection can be slow.. but they do have packages and you can also get your laptop , assuming you have one and are bringing it, hooked up in your cabin if you prefer that .
What port do you start from?

Claudia - we start from Miami - 10 nights caribbean.
Question for you - if we took the laptop and got it hooked up in the cabin, wouldn't we need a Wifi, if thats the right term or a card of some sort? And wouldn't we still get charged for usage the same as if we went to the computer center? We are pretty basic computer users and don't have all that fancy stuff that our son and sons in law have on their laptops - you know so they can be on the computer sitting on the beach almost!!! :hug: :hug:

Yes Joanna - we lave about 12", and my guess is that the schools will be closed today. Driveway is clear, but it is really cold, 21 this morning and I need to go for my walk!!! ugh!!

I am not positive, but I think it all works the same as if you were in the computer room.( I bet someone who hooks up in cabin on Radisson would know the answer if you need any cards? It seems that it would work that same way, price to use is the same as going to computer room, or get a package and I think they charge about $25 to hook to room, but it is for convienence .

Hi JoAnn,
Looking forward to meeting you and Frank at Martinis on the 27th. Right now it's almost freezing in Miami. It's going down to 38 deg. tonight, but I've arranged perfect weather for our cruise. It will be in the 80's by the end of this week. While it's a treat for us in Florida to get cool weather, this is too cool. See you on board.

Well tomorrow we start really getting things organized -- really looking forward to this first cruise on Oceania. My clients who have just come back from an Asia cruise, are just raving about Oceania. We are having dinner with one of them, our very good friends on Monday, so I am expecting to come back from that dinner really excited about O!!! Joan - see you guys on the 27th at 6:00 - can't wait!!

Thanks everyone. We are definitely doing the packing dance now!!!! :banana: :banana: I think I'm up to about 9 pairs of shoes, not counting flip flops!!! heehee! :D
We had dinner last night with our friends who just did two weeks on Nautica - they definitely got us excited!! Again, they couldn't say enough good things, they really love Oceania!

Good point Kathy - especially if they aren't treating me well!!! :app: I got really lucky on Crystal the first two nights, then nothing! Oh well those first two nights I came out way ahead! Maybe throwing some shoes would have helped!!! Of course I could also try the Italian Ice Dancer glare!!!! :(

Claudia, you made me remember the cruise that I packed plenty of shoes but forgot Mark's underwear and my bras. I only had the one that I was wearing, an old beat up comfy for the flight raggedy thing that looked great under skinny strapped evening dresses ;)
