Here is a great map of gas prices by county. Just drag the map around to get where you want to go. You can right click on a county to get actual prices, double click to zoom down, or put in a zip code to get street level map showing all gas prices at all(?) stations.

Thanks for posting this, Marc. Poor Georgia, with their gas shortage, they look like the worst place in the U.S. to buy gas.

The gas station just down the road from our house is $3.88, but near where we go to church (on the other side of town) we got gas this morning for $3.72 - what a big difference! :eek:
My dtr in Illinois gets gas for $3.21 and my Mom in WI pays $3.51.

That is a cool map. If you have an iPhone there is something similar...an app called gasbag. Nice for when you're out and need to find the closest or cheapest gas station.

Wow, there's a station near our home that's selling gas for $2.74. Our local new media indicates gas prices are really on their way down--at least in our area.

WOW Peggy! That is terrific. We found it for 3.08 here today in Hurst and we were doing the "gas dance". We need anything to cling to after the stock market happenings, don't we?!

I can't get to my town. Don't know why. Don't drive much anyway, less than 4 miles or so from work, and don't drive a lot. It's my electric and fuel oil bills that kill me to heat and AC my house!

I think we have a gas war going on here--there's a couple stations in Fort Worth selling gas for $1.85. Needless to say, the lines to fill up are around the block :app:

Yesterday our local Costco was $2.87. When I first saw the price sign I thought I was hallucinating. Wasn't expecting to see under $3 anytime soon. Needless to say I got in line....

We were amazed that our Costco had gas for $3.24. The lines were LOONNNGGGG. I'm not holding my breath for under $3.

Most stations in town are down to $3.15 - saw a few at $3.13. This is great and I hope it continues to go even lower!

Greg got gas yesterday at Kroger and handed me the receipt - $1.689 a gallon!  I think I am going to frame this little receipt...

We paid $2.15 in NY, but I think Doug was under $2 in NJ. I hope this doesn't mean we stop looking at alternate fuel sources though.
Last year our hh fuel was almost $5 per gallon, now it is in the $2 plus range. Yeah.

I used http://www.gasbuddy.com/ put in my zip code and saved the result in favorites. I check it whenever I'm going to need gas. We are lucky here in Texas these days. We have 8 stations nearby under $1.60
