![[Linked Image]](http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a19/robertatwb/map_tropprjpath07_ltst_5nhato_enus_.jpg) Anyone else watching this? Silly question, I know. Any LCT'ers in the path? Be safe! Please check in with us if you can.

Really frightening Robert! Having grown up in Miami (and left in '65,) I never experienced anything of this magnitude and we had several when I was growing up.
I have a nephew and family about 60 miles west of NO and some other acquaintances in the vicinity; HOPE they're all evacuating!!

We are watching with a heavy heart. Please check in AFTER you've gotten to safer ground. Time's a wasting.
This one looks simply terrible. Hoping for winds to die down and the storm to cool.

We have stocked up on supplies but since this is our first "big one", we have no idea what to expect! I just woke up so I have to catch up with the updates, I am hoping they are not still calling for a catagory 5.

Karen, I'll be thinking about you - please stay safe. This looks bad. I just talked to my friend who moved to New Orleans last year and she is packing up and going to Mobile, hopes to be there in a few hours.

We're keepin' our eye on YOU now, Karen! My sister is right down the Katy Freeway from you & Betty so we're always watching over your neck of the woods. Please take care!

Michelle, we are down the Katy Freeway too, on the border of Houston and Katy so I bet your sis is right near me!

Joe and Karyn Doucet live in the French Quarter, but they have the good sense to get out well before the storm arrives.

Maybe I'll see you soon (?), Karen, if I get the call again from my sister to help church volunteers like we did in Katrina. Just saw huge traffic coming into Houston from Louisiana via the I-10 with both east & west lanes turned into lanes headed to Houston....oh my.

Hope everyone stays safe. Karen will be thinking about you.
Frank's sister and brother in law live in Biloxi, and they did not evacuate for Katrina and it took 5 days to get any news on them, and sure enough they aren't leaving this time either. Worries me to death.

Safe thoughts go out to everyone in Gustav's path. It looks like a doozy. Check back in as soon as you can. We worry about you.
