Had a fabulous trip recently on the Crystal Symphony Pyramids to Pompeii. I have a six page soup to nuts review that I will be happy to email to anyone interested in more details. The short and sweet summary is:

Outstanding food, superior entertainment, top notch guest lecturers(4 on our cruise), and an incredible amount of daily activities particularly exceptional during sea days. We enjoyed all of our sea days of which we had 7, and normally my husband cannot handle 1. The ship flowed quite well with a number of great common areas including a coffee/tea bistro similar to Starbucks. This was definitely one of our better cruises.

Crystal has some very interesting and unique itineraries that could provide alternative cruise experiences.

Concerns are smaller standard cabins(size of the Paul Gauguin), charge for alcoholic beverages, and assigned seating but we found ways around the assigned seating that worked for us.

The 2008 Crystal Cruise Atlas is available and we will be happy to assist you with your Crystal reservations. Ngaire is still strictly focused on Regent and if you have an interest will ask one of us to assist you with Crystal.
