Following on Priscilla's comment, since we too like to be in Compass Rose on any "special" nights, let me ask for those who have done the 7-day Mariner Alaska trip: which day is generally the captain's welcome party/dinner -- is it the night after we sail (a sea day both northbound and southbound)? And is there also a special farewell dinner that we've had on some cruises --- or do they not do that on this 7-day trip? If so, is that generally on the last night (following a sea day), or the night before? Thanks.
