Incidentally, one of the best deals in Manhattan (if not anywhere) is the prix fixe lunch at Gotham Bar & Grill (only available on weekdays). For $25 you get 3 courses (appetizer, main course, dessert) for some of the best dining in the City. The choices are somewhat limited on the lunchtime prix fixe, but the Roast Atlantic Cod is to die for.
