Well… still no luggage. We had been told it would be in last night at 10:10 before we sailed at 11. We asked if they would hold the ship; they said “No.” But wait… there is more…

We were out all day sightseeing and when we got back we had more bad news. Seems Delta’s email was wrong. They forgot to account for the dateline, so the luggage is actually going to be coming in on KAL to HK tonight at 10:10. But wait, there is more…

KAL and all the other airlines will not take responsibility to send it into Hanoi, which is our next stop because it is “not safe.” So, KAL is going to transfer it to Cathay Pacific and they are going to send it to Saigon where we will be on Monday. Oh well, what can you do?

However, we had a wonderful sailaway, we have been honoured with an invitation to join the McKeever team for trivia this afternoon, and we might actually have appropriate clothes for formal night tonight.

As we are on our way and can do nothing about our clothes, we will let this thread die and report in on the Grand Pacific IV thread in the future.
