Kathy...I'd recommend that chat...everyone is writing very negative comments about Port Hueneme...is sad when your last impression is not a good one.
Even as we were leaving there was a fire engine following us down the pier as though we were some kind of danger - I think homeland security is doing all of their drills right here!
We stayed on ship this afternoon and had a wonderful dinner with Frank and Wendy. I will be so sad to see them go tomorrow.
Right now we are going 6 knots....we're so close to LA...can't arrive too early! Originally we were suppose to be in Port Hueneme until 10, but again, they kicked us out early - but all is well, the casino is open so we can win or lose a few dollars before tomorrow.
