My little Guys, Daisy and Gizmo, weigh 14 and 16lbs each. We live in an area backed by "open space" and we have Owls, Hawks, Coyotes, and other things we don't see but hear at night. It's enough for me to only accompany them on leash after dark. The rabbit remains I find once in a blue moon (I live in the Conejo (Rabbit) Valley send enough of a chill that I'd rather not think of the alternative of letting them out by themselves. I know too many people who have lost their beloved pets at night.
