Can anyone see this outside of the AOL client? http://journals.aol.com/debbieh103/SilverseaTrips/ We leave Sunday for our second SS cruise, and I'd like to post in that journal, but even I cannot see it outside of AOL itself. Someone please advise. I cannot see anyone else's AOL Journal outside of the AOL client, either.

Debbie, I can see it just fine and I am not an AOL customer! I am looking forward to your journal.
Editing to add, I DO have an AIM account for my instant messenger, do you think that is why I have no problem viewing AOL journals?

The problem is I will need to get to it to post! I have to try it on my laptop then, I guess. I'll have my blackberry, too, if that doesn't work out.

The blog works fine from my laptop. I've updated it with our story so far here in San Juan and included a few pics that include the view from the pool deck out to the ships. http://journals.aol.com/debbieh103/SilverseaTrips/

Debbie,
Thank you so much for posting this blog.
I am new to this Board and am considering Silversea and Seabourn; my first Regent cruise will be soon. So your sharing your Silversea experience will be of great interest/benefit.
I hope you have a wonderful cruise and I look forward to your sharing.
Thanks again.

Debbie, great journal entry! How do you get in your room if no keys work?

We have keys now but no names on them, so I think they are making new ID cards for tomorrow. They staffed the halls 24/7 until they got it fixed so we could all get in. We're in front of Monserrat.

Wow, not fun about the room keys. We had a similar problem on the Shadow, but it wasn't to that extent. We had 3 sets of key cards made up across the first couple of days until we figured out what the issue was: after inserting the key, you had to pull the card out perfectly straight up (and slower than usual). Took a little while but we got the hang of it.
Enjoy the Wind, Debbie - great to read your blog entries!

On the bright side, it's things like the wacky card keys that you will never forget!

True, Karen, and we have quite a collection of those key cards! They bring back such wonderful memories!

In the original days of Club Med the rooms had no keys or locks. You just came and went. We had a great careless time. We took nothing of great value. I think that my tennis shoes went missing! Oh well, the days of carefree travel like that are long gone! Re-created by Silverseas (lol)

This internet is a bit frustrating. I wrote a long entry here, and it went away.
I've added some Monserrat and some pics of us pulling into Les Saintes. Monserrat looks foggy, etc. but that is what we saw.
Service has been better on Wind than Whisper, bu the food temperature has been not as good. I'd like things to be hotter.
I miss the production company shows, but the entertainment has been great. Many last night gave the singer a standing ovation. He was incredible.

If anyone participates on CC, can you tell the folks there where the blog is. I have not been able to get past the forgotten password issue over there and am too tired to pursue.
The wifi does work great in the room if I have not mentioned it.
I've added some Les Saintes pics and informal dinner pics.

Sandy Lane was everything we hoped it would be. Todd got some monkey pics on the golf course. I had a great facial. What a good time there. I'll post pics in the blog later. I'm going out to the pool deck before team trivia.

We are home, and I have wrapped up the entries. To read the whole thing, you have to do view archives and start in reverse order. It includes a lot of pics. I also have menus and activity sheets, though I haven't organized anything. We got home at 8 pm last night, and it is already back to the grind.
