September 2010

If you are lucky enough to be cruising during the month, please list your cruise and the date and we will do our best to stalk you along your journey to get a glimpse of your ship. Please list your dates and ports.

Gail and I will be with the gang on CASTLE. Since it is a river cruise, I didn't think listing the ports for possible stalking was particularly relevant.

Jim and Ann - Great to hear you'll be on board. Just in case you haven't followed my adventures, Michael is my 40 year old son (I was a child bride). Would you like to meet up with us for dinner/drinks? Sorry, I can't offer you any Euros and the Aussie dollar has done a nose dive, so you wouldn't want any of them!

Congratulations on your 50th Anniversary - well done!

Hope you love Regent as much as we do.

Dad and I are taking back to the sea on another crossing after our Regent Naviagator was cancelled last year due to the early dry dock. So we shift to Silversea as a perceived punishment to Regent.

Silver Whisper is just out of drydock and refurbish (on schedule I might add). Crossing the ocean with my Dad is a great experience, and our last one on Voyager will long be etched on my mind. (FLL to Horta) Here's hoping for more memories on a new cruise line to us.

We're doing Viking River, 11 nights "Pathways of the Pharoahs" in Cairo and Luxor, as well as 3 nights both Nile and Lake Nasser, and, a four day extention to Petra.

We'll now have done the 7 wonders of the new world as well as the left over old one, the pyramids of Giza.

Lee! Pardon us for being offline for months. Here's a note Ann sent you via Brown aND kEENE:
Hi Lee. Jim and I were glad to hear from you and yes, we are VERY excited about our cruise. I did get a reservation at each of the two special restaurants by calling up Regent on the day we were allowed to make the reservations. They told me that once we boarded we could try to make additional reservations. It doesn't seem fair that you were unable to book one for Prime Rib. I hope that can be rectified.

Smart girl to get to England a few days early! We fly out from Washington, DC on Wed. the 8th and now I am beginning to freak out about the possibility of a hurricane ruining everything. You will have dealt with your jet lag as many of us board half dead.

Trying to diet before Sept. 9 but not doing well at all!!!!!

Have fun planning and packing and we'll undoubtedly meet aboard the Voyager! Ann Doyle

We'd love to join you for dinner etc. onboard. Also, what will the shore weather be like in these ports.
Jim
(promise to check back soon.)
