Hi Babs - yes, we are on the same flight to Tahiti! Congratulations on your 25th anniversary! Is the actual date while we are away? Gary will be celebrating his 50th birthday on the final night of the cruise - good excuse for a glass of champagne I think! Any news on the Moorea excursions?

Kate and Gary:

It's nice to know someone else on our plane and cruise! When I booked/reserved my excursions online, in the comment section on the bottom of the page, I noted that I wanted 2 tickets on Moorea on Oct. 21 for the Aqua Underwater walk. I assume that will give us the tickets. I'll check as soon as we board.

Our anniversary is not the exact dates of the cruise. It's in November, but I thought that October might be nicer weather. Hope so! It's also when we could get the time off.

I think there are a MILLION excuses to have a glass of champagne!

Welcome Boue! Glad to see some more people on this cruise. It's really getting close and I'm looking forward to getting my documents. This is our first time on Radisson. How about you? We'll be leaving LAX on Oct. 11th heading for our precruise at the Bora Bora Pearl. We're getting into LAX on October 9th from NY to check out LA since we've never been! We have tickets to the King Tut Exhibition.

Our planned excursions are:

Bora Bora: Shark & Ray Feeding Tour
Waverunner circle island tour

Moorea: Rent a car the first day and explore.
Do the underwater helmut dive if
I don't chicken out!

Looking forward to meeting everyone onboard and having a great time!

Babs:

This is our first time on Radisson also. So far we have signed up for the Waverunner & ATV tour on Tuesday in Bora Bora.Is that the same one that you are taking? I have always wanted to ride on a waverunner and this is my chance. I told my husband "I'm driving".

We will be flying over on the 15th. It will be a long journey to get there but well worth it. Have fun in L.A.!

Boue,

We've signed up for the waverunner tour. Not the one you're taking which includes the ATV. I'm chicken, so I let hubby drive the waverunner! They're a lot of fun!

We will have fun in LA! My hubby loves to drive and we rented a convertible to "tool" around with!

See you on board all! It's getting close!

Sorry that we've been incommunicado for the past month, but we have been somewhat preoccupied with our (5 month pregnant) daughter and son-in-law who are living down in Biloxi.
The short story is that all are safe and sound, having weathered out Katrina in Biloxi, our daughter will be returning in about a week's time from our home in Toronto, and our son-in-law is continuing to work at the VA hospital in Biloxi.
Needless to say, we are REALLY looking forward to the cruise.....

Hi Gary and Kate, I'm in Toronto too. We spent our 25th on the PG this spring. I know you will have a fabulous time, especially knowing that your daughter and family are safe and sound!

So glad to hear that your daughter and son-in-law are OK. Now you can REALLY look forward to your cruise! I can't believe 2 weeks from day we're flying out of here to LA! I look forward to meeting you on our trip to paradise. I started packing yesterday. I guess I'm a little crazy! I hope I remember everything. As long as we have our snorkels, masks and air mattresses to float around with, who cares about the rest!

In case you haven't checked recently, all the excursions are now listed on the RSSC site. Our previous bookings seem to have disappeared, so I am now rebooking. 15 days to go.......

Yes, I also saw the excursions listed. Although now I just heard that RSSC has cancelled my precruise at the BB Pearl and rescheduled me to Le Tahaa. Although a beautiful resort at Le Tahaa, BoraBora is my dream. I'm waiting to hear from my TA and RSSC.

Gary & Kate:

Just heard that RSSC has "rebooked" us at the BB Pearl in an OWB. I'm VERY happy! I know now that RSSC had nothing to do with me being "bumped". They really did a great job resolving my problem.

It's 10 days for us! We leave for LA October 9th. Looking forward to meeting you on our LAX PPT flight!
