Christina and I are planning a cruise from Manaus to Ft. lauderdale. Thinking it may be better to do a round trip using MIA instead of using FLL for our air portion. Is there a good way to get from FLL to MIA ?

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi,

There is a train betwen the MIA and Fort Lauderdale airports. This is the website. I don't know how comfortable it would be with luggage?

I am sure the Florida LCT's will chime in!

We have used a car service in the past - used ABC Limousine, 800-380-1222, www.Limoway.com. Found them to be on time, and reliable.

Living here we use Aventura Limousine and they are very reliable. All the limo services charge the same rate. The train would not be very comfortable.

Tri-Rail would not be a good choice. The train does not go directly to the airports. It is a combination of bus and train rides. Car service is best option.

Do NOT even consider using train between areas. Either use the 2 limo services offered or just hop in taxi after baggage claim. There will be plenty of porters to help you. Nix on the dreadful train service.

Absolutely-the state with the most need for public transportation has the worst-take a car, cab or limo, not the train.
