Our friends(Robert Morris and Donna McInnis), who just returned to the States aboard the QM2, had this to say: " Both Donna and I were unhappy with the Queen Mary 2 on our sail back home. The stateroom was nicely furnished and appointed, but neither the stewardess, nor the butler seemed to have customer serice/satisfaction high on their list. The same holds true for the "private" 200-passenger Queens Grill restaurant. Food selection and service were fair at best, and the sommelier service I rated as zero. For a very large ship the common areas are broken apart nicely, so you didn't get the feel of a large ship. With its liner V-hull she rides nicely, even in moderate seas, with very little roll and almost no rock. We both would have much preferred to be aboard a Radisson ship." Have them tell you about their road trip from Fez to Marrakech Morocco. It's really a facinating story. They were aboard Voyager with us from FLL-Monaco and then went on an extended road trip thru Spain, Portugal and Morocco prior to sailing home on the QM2.
