Welcome Susan! We did SoAm trip in 2006 and it was our very favorite cruise ever! I know you'll have a great time. There are some super nice LCT people on your trip.

Yes, Kathy & Al "abandoned" us, and I was looking forward to meeting them & Midge. Plus DH is into golf & boating, so he's going to be looking for someone else to bend an ear with (and hopefully sneak off the ship in port to get a round of golf in with!)

I'm expecting my cruise docs to be sent to our Arizona address, and I don't go down there until Dec 16th (I'm in Calgary now). Sure hope the package isn't sitting out by my front door! Better check with my TA, I guess. How fun that you've received them already, Cindy!! Now I'm getting excited about last-minute planning.

I didn't get my docs yet either but I believe that is because I am doing the full SA cruise.I think that the people going on the Mariner the weekearlier and those who are doing the Fll to Lima segment are receiving their docs. Lucky them.

We are also doing the full SA cruise, but we did arrange our own air, so that may have something to do with it. Hope you guys get your docs soon! It's hard to believe it is only 37 days till we sail!!!

I'll be on for the first leg. My husband, Joe, and I are traveling with his parents that are from Ecuador. We are really looking forward to Guayaquil, Ecuador where we will be visiting with my in-law's extended family.

Holey Moley!!!! Packing for 71 days and temperatures ranging from 30 degrees to 90 degrees is really overwhelming me, even though I consider myself a pretty conservative packer! I have packed for cruises of 30 days before, but temps were pretty much consistent.
So far, we are up to 4 bags (including the snorkeling gear bag). I know I have at least 3 more to go (and I can honestly say I only have 3 pairs of shoes - I learned to limit those shoes a long time ago!!) Wish me luck! Luggage pick up for us is Monday, so this will be a busy weekend for me!
