Oh the group is going to amazing! We have people coming in from all over the country to be on MINT! Plus it's a good combination of sea days and port days.....enough of both in my opinion. And the prices can't be beat. If you are already on the coast from Hawaii.....you really should take advantage of this offer. Also, it's a Friday to Friday cruise which would get you back to Hawaii on Friday if you like leaving the weekend to get ready for the next week. It really makes sense. cheer

Masaki, no way if I were going to be in California the week before this cruise would I have an excuse not to come. Please bring your bride! I am flying in from the east coast just to meet many new people I have known for a long time from the boards! (Only met Todd, Ngaire and Ken on one cruise, and spent a little time with Suzanne on the Song when we were in port together in Dubrovnik). It promises to be a great time! Todd will have a cosmo party, no doubt. Ngaire will arrange a little gathering somewhere before dinner the first night? You can be an eagle (soar with them in the morning) or an owl (hoot with them at night), depending on your preferences. You can say it is a third honeymoon (after two in Alaska) that you need after going to a wedding and have lone time together. Just come!

Is resolve starting to dissolve?

Masaki, you must join us!! It makes NO SENSE to be so close and not come on the MINT with us! Please come! It's going to be such a great group!

Todd, count Tom and I in on the Canopy excursion. Tom always thinks I'm trying to find new ways to kill ourselves. This will definitely be a new one! LOL

I am so glad you are going to do this. After writing my previous message on this topic I think people thought I was nuts, so I am glad to see you are up to the challenge. Swing away for me also. And let us know how it goes.

I'm definitely there on the canopies. My sister and her fiance will be doing a similar canopy excursion in Puntarenas. I'll ask them for additional feedback.

Todd, You're a trend setter! Vegas, MINT, flying around canopies. What's next? Please say Egypt. :D

Egypt...then he could start a table array of photographs of things he rides on vacations: elephants, canopy cables, and then a camel. Oh, and he could do that "Urban Cowboy" bucking horse somewhere in Las Vegas!

Todd, this just killed me!!! I was only suggesting, and you already have it in the array!! Okay, others, what could he ride next if he already has camel in his past? Todd, how about that bucking bronco in a bar in LV, now that you have done it all?

Just for a few minutes? Just for a picture? I will even use your camera to take it! Even though I am not going to be there, I can find an agent (Ken or Suzanne, in my mind, as Sheri will do it too just after you)l. On second thought, Suzanne would do it, too. Maybe Tom?

You've already done the camel thing! And you never told. Now I am jealous. I wanted to be first. Oh well, I'll just have to find another exotic animal. Will be thinking on that one.

Betty-

It was New Year's Eve 1999 (Millennium) in Gran Canary. We were on a land based trip that year that included Barcelona, Gran Canary and Madrid.

I still think the LV crowd should take him for just one drink to the bronco photo op. These really make the best pictures. Who wants to look at that wonderful photograph that I took of him off the back end of the Mariner when it could be of him on a bronco? We all liked the elephant and the camel the best! After all, they are the only ones he posts in full. The one I took on he ship he reduced to his head only for an avatar. Bronco, I say!Just to complete the array for the table in his living room, (or maybe closet)

OK Todd,

Since you have done camel & elephant, I will go to the Bronco photo place with you for a photo of an ol" women from Houston, who never made it to Gilley's, doing the Debra Winger thing.
Denise, Sheri & Marcie, as my chaperones, are you game? If we do it, Todd will have to come. But they better not turn that blanky, blank thing on.

OK. We are on. Hope we don't have to bribe someone NOT to turn it on. I don't personally know any of these people yet but these boards give me idea of how their minds work - & collectively. Oh my God!!! Look out.

Gilly's, that is it!!! Todd, I am still proud of that photo on the Mariner in the Chilean fjords, however, would love to see what Ken can do for you on a bronco, still or moving! Maybe just for one or two bucks it would be worth the picture for the photo array.

Todd - that picture of the camel is hilarious!

So, let me get this straight, guys. The canopy adventure is a set of zip lines from platform to platform?

So guess who's joining you guys for MINT? :D

We took the plunge and booked it - we'll be seeing you guys on November 12th after the wedding we're attending on November 6th. Now I've got to figure out the airfare.

I have to say that we're being really indulgent ... the Navigator in June and now the Mariner in November. This year is being good to us! Looking forward to meeting all of you in person!

Welcome Masaki and Amanda - glad you are a good salesman Masaki. So looking forward to meeting you both. MINT has turned into such a fantastic group of people we are going to have a fantastic time. Now JIMB is thinking of joining us as well. Would love to meet him also. Between Vegas and Mint many of us will have met in person by the end of 2004.

Marcie - I'm not certain if my sense of balance (or I) could survive drinking margaritas before walking around on canopies 90 feet up in the air! :)

Ngaire - easy to be a good salesman when I have a good travel agent to back me up ... ;)
