Does anyone know...if we sign up for something online, and find out later we don't want to go, can we cancel with no penalty??

Good Question, Sheri!

Todd - with Rotator Cuff issue, and chest surgery only a month ago, I don't think the Canopy tour would be advisable for me. SOunds fun,
but... :(

Has there been a date/time set yet for Tequila 101? Probably best the evening bfore, or during, a Sea Day.

I NEED this cruise!!!!!!

Sheri, on all other Radisson cruises I've been on you can cancel....something like 24 hours notice (maybe less notice...not sure of that?) For the snorklers, just in case you don't know the Pacific is much colder than the water you may be use to in the Caribbean.
I've been to Cabo quite a few times and there are other things to do there such as horseback riding and renting ATVs and riding up and down the beach.

So that Marcie is not alone, I think we all should pull out embarassing pictures from our archives & post them. I'd bet every one of us has AT LEAST ONE. You can scan & post
(Of course, I do not have a scanner ;) so it would be difficult for ME to post) - but I'll bet most of you can! :D

Sheri, there must be more to this...maybe it was cancelled or ?? No one has even gotten their cruise docs yet...it can't be sold out! Maybe they're not taking reservations yet?? If it were sold out, I'm sure with the demand, they'll open up another group.

Sheri, if all else fails come on the canopy trip with us. My older sister (who is a huge chicken) did it and even she said it was really fun and to be sure and do it.

I did book the Canopy trip and got an email confirmation. Anthony, I hope you were able to work out the reason you didn't receive a confirmation.

Marcie, that is absolutely hilarious (is that a DRESS you have on???)!!!!

Our time in Cabo has changed several times, but as of right now we will be there from 3:00 pm til 8:00 pm. Mark is absolutely THRILLED because his favorite place to eat in Cabo is The Office, and now we can have an early dinner there.

We aren't going to sign up for any excursions ahead of time because we never know from day to day how much energy we are going to have, and for us, the ship is the destination. All the ports are just icing on the cake.

Sheri, maybe they just limit the number of bookings available online? I can hardly think they would close out an excursion before docs have even been sent. Not that I think I can't have it, Las Caletas is exactly what I want! I think you can book it through local tour companies.

I have just e-mailed Susan Walsh at Ngaire's office about this, asking if maybe she could call Radisson since several are interested in Las Caletas.

Anthony,
It looks like Scott would like to join you on the fishing trip. Let us know what you need from him, and any particulars he needs to know.
Thanks again for the VERY kind offer! We BOTH really appreciate it! :)

I just received the following from Julie Harris in Ngaire's office. Any of her clients who are worried about getting excursions on MINT might want to e-mail Julie so she can send you the form to download. Sorry, but I don't know how to copy it here

Olivia,

RSSC said that since it is so close to the sailing date that the online booking has been removed. Don't know why they would leave Cabo on and so I am assuming it may just be technical difficulties. Anyway, I asked them to send me a fax form and we can still fax in the pre-booking requests. Please keep in mind, that whether you pre-book online or by fax that it is not a guarantee of availability and that you should still check with the tour desk for confirmation of your pre-booked excursions once you are onboard the ship.

Even though the form says to fax it to Radisson, please complete the attached form and fax it back to me at 972-701-9293. This is so that we have a record of it in case there are any issues.

Best regards,
Julie Harris

Olivia,

That's so interesting; the excursions for our cruise are still posted. I don't see the excursion that you were talking about for PV, but there are several others.

Pam, they've been removed from the place where you do advance on-line booking requests for excursions, except for the ones in Cabo.

Yes, I saw that. But ours are ALL still up. I haven't tried to book any, but the prices are there and they have the link to continue.

I keep forgetting you are on the "other" MINT. Yes, I see yours are still up. Maybe they know about this crazy group coming aboard and figure we would flood things out. The explanation was that it was so close to cruise time, but you are leaving 10 days before us. Who knows? Anyway, I'm set with the form Julie downloaded.

Anthony, if Paige still wants to ride horses, "Randi's Happy Horses" gets rave reviews on the CC board:

I guess it's Canopy Tour in PV; an excursion through the countryside with "local native Frank" to see the children riding donkeys down the cobblestone streets; chickens and pigs wandering into the ancient churches...a taste of the "old authentic Mexico". We have nothing planned for Cabo....maybe "The Giggling Marlin", "Cabo Wabo"... or a local Cantina??

This will be a WONDERFUL week!

I am canceling the wildlife excursion and have signed up for Olivia's country tour.
We too have nothing planned for Cabo at this time.

Kind of waiting to see what was recommended by those that have been there.

Sheri,

Glad to know Scott is interested and that I'll have a bit of company.

Not much really to know. We are supposed to be picked up at the dock once we disembark and will be taken out for fishing until about 3:00 or so, back in plenty of time to join the gang for drinks, etc (after we shower of coure - I am sure you all would not appreciate us after a hot day in the sun, fish, etc without one - lol).

I hope this is a worthwhile experience. Fishing is supposed to be good in Nov., so maybe we can both catch a marlin or 2!

Anthony,I caught my marlin in November!! (or should I say he just kind of swam into my hook with his mouth open!)
I wish our outing had been a tag and release! I wanted so badly to let him/her go but all the men and local Mexican workerbees on board looked at me like I was crazy! There was one other woman on the boat with me but she felt seasick and held a "bucket" all day and never once left an inside bench.

RE: Cabo...

We will be visiting Tanya Moss' Jewlery store...she plans on being there as she wants to see us and I've got some specific pieces I want to buy. Since we have odd docking hours, it will basically be a morning shopping trip.

If you are not familiar with Tanya's Products, visit her at www.tanyamoss.com

I would categorize her as the Elsa Peretti of Mexico

Anthony,
Should he just plan on covering his half of the $$ when we all meet up? Or would you rather he send it ahead of time?

Sheri,

Don't worry about sending anything. Besides, I would not expect him to pay 1/2. If he wants he can pay 1/4 of the cost because the boat holds 4 or so.

I just decided to keep the number to 3 or less so that we could have more fishing time for each person.
