Went over to Priceline, but price for Hyatt was $265.
Never used this site - what did I do wrong?

Gil,

You need to click the "name my own price" section and then do as Marcie instructed. It is in the upper right corner!

We are still on board. Sooo looking forward to this cruise and getting back on the Navigator in what, hopefully, will be much calmer seas!

Gil, we're at the Hyatt Pier 66 for January 9 (got it on priceline for $135. I think) but now they're doing a complete remodel and the place may not be in too good of shape with construction going on and pool closed. A better priceline bet may be the Marriott Renaissance for the same price or you can't go wrong with the Holiday Inn Express on 17th street.(Holiday Inn Express doesn't seem to ever come up on priceline). Hyatt construction is suppose to be complete mid January but who knows??

Thank you Marcie. Gil booked us at the Holiday Inn.

Wes I hope you can, but am disappointed that Ida can't. Of course I understand.

Oh boy, should we be worried about the Hyatt? We booked through Priceline, but I hope it is not too shabby.

P.S. - Wes, hope you can join us!

I guess we'll find out?? I hear that the "Tower" is the better building of the two. I'm sure it will be OK for 1 night. Maybe it will be done by then!

Colonel:

Wow, what good news to wake up to!

I truly haven't gotten over not being able to meet you and Ida last April during your induction into the Army's Officers' Candidate School Hall of Fame but am most pleased another opportunity has arisen.

My thanks to Ida for sharing and we'll look forward to breaking bread with her on some future adventure.

See ya soon!

Cheers! Ray & Penny

We're having a big dinner in FLL on Monday night (22 of us) and some of the locals picked a restaurant called Bravo Restorante .
This link also gives menu and wine list Bravo website

Guess it has good food and the location is very close to Port Everglades' hotels (Renaissance, Hyatt, Holiday Inn Express) where many of us are staying the night before our Mariner cruise. After Monday I can give you a thumbs up or down! Maybe the Kimmi's can give some recommendations too.

Marcie - Last time I was in FLL we ate at the French Quarter. They even have a private room that would be perfect for a gathering. The place was quite charming and food delightful.

Kathy, I'm not looking for a restaurant. Like you, I'm just offering suggestions to Gil, Arlene, Anthony, Paige etc.

We are game for anything. I believe Marcie and Tom gave Bravo good marks so we could consider this, unless the Kimmis have more/better suggestions.

We are at the Hyatt Pier 66, but...have cab, will travel.

Aww shucks, Wes.
We'll have to try for another time.

Bravo's menu looks fine. As does Bimini Boatyard if we don't want Italian. Anyone chime in please. I'd prefer something Not too fancy the night before sailing.

Is the rollcall correct:
Paige & Anthony
Penny & Ray
Kim & John
Arlene & whatsisname
Rebecca & Gordon (?)

Time preferences?

Gil,

Either one is fine with us! We arrive around 6:40 barring any delays, although we do have a nonstop flight. Someone just let us know where to be after check-in and we will be there!

both are fine here too...so someone make a decision...lol. Should we meet for dinner around 7:45 and if Anthony and Paige are running late, we'll just nurse our drinks?

OK - "someone" will make a decision.
And Someone says let's follow the recommendation of Marci & meet at Bravo at 7:45.

I'll PM our cellphone numbers to those going, and that way A & P can let us know if they are running late.

I'll make the reservation.
8 people, correct?

Hi All -
We won't be able to make it - we're actually going to be in South Beach checking it all out but definitely sounds like a good time in FLL - and we'll see all of you the 27th.
