If you are lucky enough to be cruising during the month, please list your cruise and the date and we will do our best to stalk you along your journey to get a glimpse of your ship. Please list your dates and ports.

I will be on the Voyager from Capetown to Rio. This is the same itinerary as last year's SAMBA cruise which I had to cancel at the last minute. Looking forward to being back on the Voyager after a 3 year absence from that ship. No pre-cruise safari, but do have a 15 hour lay-over in Paris on the flight down. (never been there) Also will be visiting some of my son's in-laws in Johannesburg beforehand.

Betty, We've got to do something about this. Though you can't cruise there, Paris can be a pre or post land trip for a cruise.

Are we talking 3 females go wild in Paris? ;)
Actually I have a day room at CDG Sheraton and hope to be able to at least do the HOHO bus and see the outside of some of the famous sites while there. The timing of flight departure, check-out time for day room rate and Betty "lost" in downtown Paris on a cold, dark November night are my biggest concerns. It gets slightly complicated and my high school French skills are now pathetic! N'est-ce pas?.

Betty, Now 3 females go wild in Paris doesn't sound like a bad idea!! At least you will have a few hours to see the sights in Paris. I, too, only had 2 years of French in high school. My 9th grade French teacher would come in the classroom and greet us with, "Bonjour, y'all."

Beth - definitely LOL about the y'all part. My French teacher was married to an anthro prof so was pretty straight laced about everything being absolutely perfect.
Now females go wild in Paris. We can perfect this in OZ and Paris will never know what hit it!

Oh yeah - I won't be alone! Jody, I think it's 714. I'll look at my invoice tomorrow & PM you with the correct one. Where are you all?
Just looked - yes, 714. Found you in 822.

Some of you may (and most of you won't) recall that I took my father (85) on an Atlantic crossing in April 08 on Voyager from Fort Lauderdale to the Azores. It was a wonderful trip for the "boys" to go on, and dad is an old sea dog who prefers watching the waves to shore excursions. So much to my mother's chagrin, we will reprise the adventure in November on Navigator from Madeira back to Lauderdale.

While at first he asked if I thought it wise to try a crossing in what is potentially still hurricane season, we both agreed that we would love nothing more than to have the storied crossing of fighting the elements and storming back into Florida with a tale from the sea to tell to those who will listen.

So once again, the Captain and the Kid will take to the waves and eat and drink our way across the Great Atlantic with the sea in our face and no fear in our hearts!
