You and Priceline are absolutely amazing. I wish I had your talent for finding those deals. I find Priceline to be somewhat intimidating.

Hi Gil

LGB is RELATIVELY close to the Port...what time are you getting in?

Back in March, we left the Sheraton at 11:30, were there in less than 10 mins, literally walked up into the check in and were the second ones on board...we were having lunch by 12:45 at the Pool Grille...so if you time it correctly it should literally be able to walk of the plane, catch a cab, and walk on board!!

This time around we are planning the same course of action, although Elizabeth as she is local (Rancho Palos Verdes...we didn't stay with her last time just for privacy's sake LOL) will just meet us at the hotel to ride over with us.

We are ready to go now, if you ask us <img border="0" alt="[jump]" title="" src="graemlins/jumpjoy.gif" />

Just received Cabin # - 734, in Steerage!

Looks like no one near me - just the Casino.

Not dangerous - just won't bring money - or will hang out elsewhere until casino closes.

I made a few bucks in tournament on VJ7!!

MINTERS - there are changes to schedule for the Mariner in Mexico. My office mailed late Friday and the ship is now not docking until 10.00 am on the 19th for disembarkation so all the people with flights around noon wont make it. This includes me and I am sure almost every other LCT -MINTER. I am not sure of all the details yet but from my office email I think that Silversea is having to do the same thing so it must be something to do with security again or government criteria.

Radisson said they were going to rebook all the people with air/sea arrangements. If the airline has had any schedule change since you bought your tickets then you can change for no penalty. Even a minute means a free change. I am not sure if RSSC will do anything for those who bought their own air for any fees from the airlines for a change. If this is a government mandate they may not I just dont know yet. I just wanted you all to know as soon as possible and thought this might be the fastest way to get the word out.

My office will be contacting everyone of course once we have more details.

Ngaire,
Okay, we did our own air, and our flight leaves at Noon...so, you said that if the airline has had any schedule change, we can change for free..is that us, or only land/sea passengers??

OH MAN...the only thing available is the red eye! UGH! So, I have to find something to do until 11 p.m. The only other option would be paying a $100 pp fee to leave the next morning, but then we would also have to pay for a hotel room. :(
Oh well, I guess I have to do it.

That Ngaire!!
As soon as I heard that the arrival time had changed, I called my airline and rebooked for a later flight. They charged me $50.00 per person as a charge. After I read Ngaire's note, I called the airline again and quoted Ngaire's comments that it was my understanding that if the airline had changed their departure times, I could rebook and not incur any fees. At first the agent said "no, the fee still stands." I asked her to review with a supervisor or manager, she agreed. When she came back on line, she said the charge would be reversed!

Atta girl Ngaire!! This is why you're the world's best travel agent - to think to include something like this in a little note - saved me $100 - thank you!!! (more drinks on the cruise for us !!!)
The Sheik is well pleased!!!

I received an email telling me my times had changed, but it was not the outbound flight on the 19th. We are connecting in Charlotte and it still leaves at 2:00 - You may want to check that Sheri to see if you can get a flight from Charlotte to your home.

Sheri, we are going out pre-cruise on Thursday from Baltimore through Pittsburg, leaving at 5:45 p.m. Is this the flight you are on?

I just booked today for Friday night at the Hilton at Universal Studios. AAA rate was only 143.10. They didn't have a AAA combo with tickets, but buying them separately still comes out better than the next best rate. Anyone bet I can get home on Sunday a.m. with no sleep and be ready for 25 for Thanksgiving Dinner 4 days later?

Yes, Olivia, I believe that is the flight we are on. Do you have seat assignments yet?

Anthony, they did tell me about that flight, and it CERTAINLY would have been preferable to the redeye, BUT they only had one seat left. I guess when they cancelled the other (LA-PIT) flight, a lot of people booked your flight. :(

I am not happy about it, but if it is the worst thing that happens to me that day, I am in pretty good shape!! :)

Oh MY! It was something.
Here in Eastern Montana we are in the 6th year of severe drought so have had little if no rain, and to go to that was something.
So far we have 18 signed up for the shuttle.
I wish everyone would let me know so we can reserve the vans or coaches depending on how many we have.

We don't dock until 10:00. So with customs etc we will be off at 11:30 at the earliest? Am I missing something here?

Oh heck oh darn. Not getting up at the crack of dawn seems like a pretty good deal to me. If you have to reorganize flights home that could be annoying but the rest of it seems very civilized to me. I am so okay with a leisurely last morning.
