Lawrence-
That is another option. We need to pin down when people are arriving. Encounters is a very short cab ride from the Westin.

Todd, wouldn't the Westin have a complimentary shuttle running back and forth to LAX to enable you to go to Encounters if this is what your group decides?

MINTERS....I was doing some research for my cruise and came across this Virtuoso Tour information for your cruise...just wanted to post it here for you - sounds like fun. MEXICO Seven Seas Mariner - 11/2/2004 Puerto Vallarta 11/8/2004 | Full-day City Sights with Lunch
Once an inaccessible fishing village, Puerto Vallarta is today one of the premier resorts on Mexico’s West Coast. Nestled inside the horseshoe-shaped Bahía de Banderas, the city is composed of two distinctive areas: Old Town, a bustling mosaic of shops, galleries, restaurants, and nightclubs – and beyond the town, Playa del Sol, a gloriously uncluttered expanse of beach. Residents are dedicated to maintaining the town’s integrity as a sleepy (albeit posh) getaway. All houses must be painted white and roofs tiled red. Even the grocery store has a cobblestone parking lot. It’s a magical composition when one looks upward from the glistening bay: palm-covered hillsides against a periwinkle sky – and the tidy white and red houses like staccato notes dotting the emerald rises. And just outside town, steep mountain roads curve and twist through jungles replete with cascading waterfalls, rushing rivulets, and peaceful coves.
Voyager Club members begin in Old Town with a walk along its centuries-old streets. Then we visit Aqui es Xalisco, the renowned tequila distillery. Here, we’ll observe the process of distillation – and enjoy a tasting of several kinds of tequila – from clear to golden. And then just before our elegant luncheon, we’ll visit Café des Artistes Gallery. The gallery’s collection of art and handicrafts is beyond compare.
We’ll dine at Puerto Vallarta’s famous Café des Artistes. Chef-owner Thierry Blouet combines fresh Mexican ingredients with his fine honed European recipes for dishes that are delicate as well as scintillating. Fine varietals from Europe and the Americas complement your meal.
Approximate Length: Five hours.
Suggested Attire: Casual wear with a sun hat and comfortable shoes. Light walking.
PLEASE NOTE: All Voyager Club events ashore are capacity controlled and require a minimum number of participants to operate. Events are subject to change without notice. Voyager Club events are individually tailored for each date and arrival. Your event could be different than what’s noted here; but it will be designed to be memorable and to bring you a traveler’s view that you will treasure, and would otherwise miss entirely. Final details will be outlined in program letters provided by your Voyager Club host aboard ship. Hosted Cocktail Reception
Special Virtuoso Voyager Club Shore Event!

I hope so since I'm planning on returning the car to LAX, take the rental car shuttle to LAX itself, and then hopping the Westin shuttle to the hotel! :)

I'll offer to sing mariachi songs..but be warned, my singing is off key, in any language. I just make it up with enthusiasm! :hyper:

Too many to mention but I'm sure you know a few, e.g. El Rey, Jalisco no te Rajes, Guadalajara, La Bikina, etc. etc. Do you like Mariachi music?? I can do the classic yelp too. I just can't sing ;p We will need to do a Mariachi Karaoke one night...Peter can do "Alla en el Rancho Grande"

You all will be in trouble if I start singing. My spanish is limited to medical history information and even that is sketchy. Therefore, I will sit back in the cheering section for any, and all, karaoke.
I am sooo looking forward to this cruise and all of the interesting things that are sure to occur.

Masaki,
No problem...tequila has a way enabling non-native speakers to start "speaking in tongues" very quickly!!
VIVA MEJICO, SI SENOR!!! (Can't believe I just said that, but after all, I am 1/8 Mejicana)

Masaki, you must do a "Guantanamera" duet with George. He has written his own lyrics. They go something like, "One-ton tomato, I ate a one-ton tomato, one ton-tomaaaaaato. I ate a one-ton tomato." It really adds a new dimension to an old favorite.
Radisson may not be the same after MINT.

Greetings:
Add two more to the Mexican bash. Penny and I recently overcame some obstacles and it appears we will be joining you guys for the fiesta.
At this point in time, we plan to arrive the day of the cruise so we'll see you yall on the ship.
Cheers! Ray We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about. (Charles Kingsley (1819 - 1875))
