Hi guys, we've just finished our first week on the PG of our two week Marquesas trip. I must say that we have lucked out in many ways. The ship is at the top of its form right now, in terms of service, food, staff, everything. And the weather so far has been almost uniformly excellent, after multiple days of rain on the previous voyage.
We are ecstatically happy in our 8th floor B cabin, and are having a great time with our friend Jim, who's on his first Regent cruise. We're in Hiva Oa today, which is really beautiful and lush. 4x4 trips booked on the remaining tw islands, and are so far thrilled to bits with the Marquesas.

Wendy, you are bringing back memories. We were there a couple of weeks ago on a back to back, and it was just awesome!!!! Service, food and especially staff were nothing short of fantastic for us too. Isn't Deck 8 great! Its a magical place, French Polynesia. We are seriously thinking of the December 2009 sailing.

Thanks for checking in from paradise, Wendy - and yes, aren't those Deck 8 cabins fabulous!? Please say hello to Laksman from Greg and Kristin, if you see him. He is the fine looking young man from Sri Lanka who all the Gauguines go ga-ga over!!!

That's terrific news that all is ship shape on the PG. I know you were a bit concerned about what you may find. May the rest of your trip equally be as flawless and that your experience at the Radisson will be better this time for you too. Looking forward to your report after you get home.
