Don't know how to put those cute little dancers on post but received our Docs for June 7 Alaskan Cruise. You guys were right I do have a day room at Hilton.. One stupid question though, What exactly is a day room? My DH will probably be happy when we leave so he can see me somewhere without my laptop in front of me,on these boards and the Alaska sites. Sandra: Tony feels he competes for my attention with LCT!!!! Well with the computer in general - he usually calls LCT that "damn board" unless dinner is extra tardy and then language may be stronger    Joanna Congrats on your docs - we'll be waiting for your reports - big group leaves on 8/30 cruise to Alaska - editing to say I love Suefalls and Sioux Falls!!!

I'm dancing with you, Sandra. Anticipation is a great thing! Enjoy your cruise.

To answer your question about a day room - it's a hotel room reserved for you just for the day so you have a place to change/shower/rest before you transit to somewhere else!

Sandra, have a great time, getting your docs is the most exciting thing aside from actually doing the cruise! <img border="0" alt="[bounce]" title="" src="graemlins/ubbbounce2.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[bounce]" title="" src="graemlins/ubbbounce2.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[bounce]" title="" src="graemlins/ubbbounce2.gif" />

Thanks Everyone for the info and the Dance. I better get something done around here now. We have a big Kentucky Derby party here next Saturday and I haven't even started planning it Amazing that I've been spending hours on this cruise, and I have about 40-50 people coming over for this annual party, and I haven't even started doing anything. House is a mess, garden barely touched, menu not planned.(my DH and I have a reputation for putting on grand scale appetizers and meals, that we do on our own.) Maybe this year everyone will settle for cheese and crackers. After all, the race only lasts a few seconds, if the food lasts that long we should be good, Right?!!Grin.
Thanks again, Sandra

Sandra,

Somewhere here o LCT we've had some parties we've planned for New Years or Superbowl so maybe there were some ideas you could use.

Sandra, we're all dancing for you! :3smile: :3smile:

Joanna, my husband doesn't watch much television: our problem has been that we both compete for the same computer. Neither of us likes to go downstairs to the older computer. He fixed that problem two weeks ago by purchasing a laptop. Now he has 3 computers to maintain for the 2 of us! BTW, the laptop is off limits to me.
