Has anyone taken this walking excursion while in Moorea? We have taken other "walks" with Regent and wondered about this one. Good, bad, or is it a "death march" like the one on Raiatea?

Thanks.

Sorry it took so long to post a reply, I have been out of town on a compelling project since July 31. I have been on the hike to the three coconut. It was an interesting hike, about 7 kilometers round trip on a semi improved trail. Our guide was local and he passed along interesting tidbits about the islands and the culture while we took breaks, we needed them! When the guide offers you a walking stick, take it! The trail is steep in parts and you have to climb over some roots and rocks occasionally. Plan on coming out muddy. I would do it again, fo whatever that is worth.

Thanks so much for your reply. Will we have to climb up a hillside with a rope or repel down one? I can handle roots, wetness and distance but steepness on a very narrow trail is a bit much for me.
