We are on a waitlist for a RSSC Mediterranean cruise. The RSSC agent suggested that we put a deposit for an October 06 cruise if we really wanted to be shortlisted. In general, it seems like all the 06 cruises are totally booked. Any suggestions?

No suggestions but most people who are wait-listed always seem to get a cabin and most times, it doesn't take too long. If you are asking if you should deposit, I think it really does help your chances. If Ngaire sees this question, she will give a more informed explanation.
I AM surprised that all the ships are full already!

Deposited waitlists are then moved to the priority waitlist. All deposited waitlists are cleared first.

When your waitlist list clears you are contacted and normally have 24 hours to say YES or NO to the clearance of the waitlist.
