For those who have used this airport any advice especially in regards to obtaining a taxi or transfer from here to hotels in Nice or Monte Carlo?

This is one of Europe's best airports as regards cleanliness, efficiency and calm. I was there in winter and took a bus to M.Carlo which stopped at passengers' hotels. There are several means of transportation outside the airport and the rates are very reasonable. The tourist desk is at the entrance. In summer, of course, it's a bit crowded, but nevertheless still efficient with low wait times.

We have a transfer booked to our hotel in Nice this June. The hotel arranged it for us, and it's costing 28 euros. We thought after a very long slog over the pond, this would be the easiest way to do it.

We were there in April and stayed at the Beau Rivage in Nice. It cost us 25 Euro to take a taxi to the Airport and we were dropped off right at the British Airways check in.

We flew into Nice Airport from JFK in Sept. ,wonderful,small, clean airport, compared to the crazyness of Paris..We stayed at the Sheraton in Nice, they sent a car, and the Hotel arranged a car for us to go to Monte Carlo, make sure you go to Eze if you possibly have enough time, Great Mid-evil town on the way to Monte Carlo. :) :) :)

For a special way to arrive in Monte Carlo you can take a helicopter from Nice Airport to Monte Carlo. They fly you to Monte Carlo and drive you to the hotel from there. http://www.heliairmonaco.com/ We used this service a few years ago. It's about double the cost of a taxi, but a lot of fun and a great way to live the "lifestyles of the rich and famous!!"
