Hi Cruisedreamer since you are just back from the PG - can you advise as to whether you were offered the use of the Sofitel Moorea beach when you were there? In my last two PG cruises I recall us going there but they were three years ago.

No, we were not offered the use of the Sofitel MOorea Beach while we were there either by the Cruise line or anyone else.

Wow,3x on the PG!!!! Which cruise are you considering? If you like lattes in the morning, be sure to ask Deck Steward Laksman(8th level-pool) to make one for you. He is the only one to make them like Starbucks. Tell him, Carol, advised you.

Do you remember Joseito in the main dining room? He is still singing!!! Also, Amanda, in reception,she worked the 11pm-8am shift at night,was wonderful as well. 98% of the crew gave their all and made us feel so special!!!

We will be going on the New Years cruise.
Sorry to hear no Sofitel on Moorea. My two previous PG trips were in 2003 and 2004 and both times we were allowed to use the Sofitel beach and change facilities and just had to pay for the use of the chairs. Its a lovely beach and even has a little snorkelling.
I will tell my daughter about Laksman. She is the Starbucks fan in the family. She is also a real fan of Beef Wellington and the last time we were on the PG the made a entire fillet and brought it to the table of a mammoth silver platter for her.
