I know, I know...I've been absent for a while. It's tough reading about the cruises knowing I am unable to go with you LOL Right now, we are doing our traveling in country on Keith's new Yamaha FJR1300A touring motorcycle. So there went our cruise money lol

Anyway - I've FINALLY gotten my parents booked on Regent (23 April - Istanbul to Venice) for their 50th Anniversary, and was wondering 2 things...

#1 - Is anyone else going to be on this adventure?

And #2 - My father prefers Mount Gay Rum. As K is a single malt scotch man, I never paid attention to rum selections. Is Mount Gay available? (He'd like a bottle in the suite - I told him to ask their stewardess when they meet her) If it is NOT available, can someone please instruct me about how to have a bottle ordered by me and waiting in their suite when they arrive?

I've been thinking about the Anniversary add-on package offered by Regent. Anyone know if it's cheesy or worth the $$$ ?

We are also on this cruise. It is a wonderful itinerary to celebrate a 50th anniversary!

Ash, You may want to check first with Regent regarding your father's favorite rum. Hopefully they can find out if Mount Gay Rum is available. I would guess your father's TA could handle ordering the bottle to have it in the suite when your parents arrive. Give it a try. Enjoy your touring!

Hi Ash No answers for you but gosh it is great to hear from you.

Mount Gay is available in the bars, so it should be available for your cabin. On the premium liquor list they have Mount Gay Extra Old, for which they charge $11 per shot.

Joanna, Todd, Arlene....it's been waaay too long! I know this group will continue to have a variety of sailing options together for a long time to come, so don't count us out yet! I'm loving retirement, but it does put a pinch on the budget having only one income LOL
