Any suggestions for a hotel in Copenhagen? Just want to be close to the local sights -- Jan

we had a very nice time at the Marriot. It is right on the water. Its a little bit of a walk to Tivoli but if the weather is nice it is a very pleasant stroll. We walked there and then took a cab back. The hotel was very nice with terrific views and the staff could not have been more helpful. My husband lost a dental crown and they called a pharmacy and got him what he needed. The resturant was very good too. Its the only place I have ever stayed in Copenhagen so can't really compare but we liked it very much.

I second the Marriott. Make sure you have a room overlooking the water.

We, too, stayed at the Marriott. Ask for the concierge or executive level.

There are several posts about the Marriott under the Hotels Topic. My choice is also the Marriott. I've posted why under the other topic.
