Is there a shuttle service from Barcelona airport to a hotel ? Is there a shuttle service from Civitaveccia to Rome airport ? Or should one book a taxi ?

Not sure about shuttles from Civitaveccia into Rome, but when we were there 2 years ago we took a cab from our hotel out to the airport. Was 50 euros, incl tip (and a kamikaze cab driver!). Gary

There are no "shuttles" at Barcelona airport..taxis are plenty. For Barcelona if you want to hire a driver in advance email: Http://www.barcelonataxi.com they are great
for Rome there is a shuttle service Http://www.airportconnection.it/standby.htm
if you want private drivers for there just ask

p.s. taxi from port Civitavecchia to Rome would be probably more expensive than hiring a private car..also maybe you can find some couple to share the car with you...cut down that price
