This may be old hat for you experienced cruisers...
I came home today to find a personalized PG book outlining the details of our upcoming cruise. Pauls and my name were printed on the front, a "Dear Robert & Paul" letter from Mr. Conroy on the inside front cover and our info including our sail date and booking number on the next page.
I've never heard of this before. Is this something new or am I just showing what a newbie I am? LOL
It was a very nice touch.

Robert, this is my third on the PG but I didnt get any personalized book - just the usual ticket books with names etc.......you must be special!

This is a new feature from Regent and only started about two days ago.
There is also some new email features that are being sent out. One is if you do an option booking (booking without depositing) the email tells you when the option is due to expire with details of the cruise included in the email.
Of course they have to have your email on file.

Anytime I make a booking without depositing it immediately it is called an option. You have 72 hours to deposit or the option expires. This is nothing new just the fact that they sent an email now with all kinds of bells and whistles to remind you when the option will expire.

Robert, I know you have wanted to take a cruise for awhile. I know you and Paul will have a wonderful time. The Tahiti cruise was one of our favorites. I'm sure this will be the first of many future cruises.

Robert, a nice touch indeed, and how fitting that you should be one of the first for the experience! You've waited a long time to sail RSSC. I'm so happy you've got such a wonderful trip to anticipate.
Ngaire, thanks for the insight. Every new "feel good" or interactive feature adds to the RSSC experience, in my opinion.
