Why has the air rates gone up so much to fly to Tahiti w/RSSC. LAX was $399.00, now it is $899.00 That is a big rate hike. Thanks Roxanne

Welcome to LCT! Thank you for posting!

I would guess that basic air cost is up (Oil prices are way up too) but it also includes the cost of RSSC providing you with a hotel room for the day since the flights are in the evening of the debarkcation day

Radisson used to subsidize the air as part of their rates. In fact, they were very above board about this. If you didn't use their air (including transfers and day room) they would give you a credit of $625 per person. Therefore, the true cost from Orlando was $499 + $625 or $1124. I think this change is being more upfront about air cost and makes the prices more apple to apple for comparison to TP and others.
