Dear all,
I got sent oversea for the last two weeks for work, so we didn't finish our scuba cert. at home.
Is any one familiar with the universal referral program? Our instructor is a NAUI person, but PG instructor is PADI, is there any problem? By the way, do you know how much the program will cost us and how will it schedule? We are looking at doing some land excursion also, so we want to make sure we don’t have conflict schedule.
Thanks for your help.

Cindy; If all you need to do is complete the open water part of your training, I would think that the PG would be a great place to finish! If you can, give PADI a call, and make sure that your NAUI is going to fit PADI on the PG. I would get a faxed confirmation to show the divemaster on the PG that the PADI Office OK'd the course. I don't remember the cost. Bob

Cindy, I agree with Bob. You definitely need to find out from PADI if they will accept NAUI. The divemasters on the PG are all PADI. I got certified on the PG with people who brought a PADI referral and all they had to do was their dives and the PG divemasters sent in their certification to PADI. As far as cost that changes from year to year, but I believe it is about $350 to 400 as each dive is $80 and I think they will ask you to also do the pool work the first day. Unfortunately calling Radisson probably won't help as all that is determined on the ship. Have fun.
