As Peggy reported in her Breaking news from pre-PANDA post, RSSC will be soon be announcing a new 650 passenger ship to be built. Guess the name of the ship and you will almost win this "Merlot Overboard" wine preserver :)

What about Seven Seas Explorer ( it's also the name of a Royal Caribbean ship, but they also have ships named Navigator, Mariner and Voyager)

I suggested Song of Flower because the line kept the name when they sold the ship. I assumed it was with the idea they would use it on a future ship. Yes, to use the name of the delicate flower for a larger ship does not "fit."

This is what we were told by a reliable source when we were on PUBS. Take it for what it's worth and don't kill the messenger. There are serious negotiations in progress( final stages ) for Regent to be bought out by a financial firm( rumored to be The Apollo Group ). Regent doesn't have the necessary capital available to put a new ship on the ways and Mrs. Carlson apparently wants out. If the buyout goes through Regent will have a new ship of the Voyager class by 2010. Silversea already has a new ship under construction and Seabourn has 2. Regent needs the new ship in order to stay competetive. Also got some info that was of great interest regarding smoking, but I'm not going to post it on LCT. If any of you smokers want more info on that you can e-mail me at dougburns1@cox.net.
