Hi again, More random thoughts after my first day back at work(Wish I was as organized as Wes). Most of these are from the time I "lurked" on LCT with no one knowing who I was!
Wes mentioned the 4X4 on Bora Bora, if you don't have problems bouncing around-do it!!
Questions were asked about laundry on the PG-had many items pressed/laundered, not too expensive. Plan on it if you don't want to take too many clothes. I think having pants washed/pressed was about $5.00. We had a lot of things done(in my opinion) and it wasn't too much.
Coments have been made about the SPA on the ship: I did go to the steam room several times with Wes- they were polite each time, but Wes said make sure the door is locked, or they may "check on things". Kim had a 1 hour massage on the ship(just before the hike from hell) and said it was the best she ever had!! She also had a 1/2 hour massage on Motu Mahana and said it was also incredible.
I'm still waiting for Wes to give his full version of "the jungle hike from hell" so, will just say expect some harsh wear on your reef shoes-but everyone felt it was the best choice of footwear. Also, for anyone that does this-Please take pictures at the first water crossing on the way up for me- I'll be very happy if I get the picture!!
Sorry if this seems as random as my thoughts right now- I am still trying to recover from an extremely long flight home and my first day of work after the best trip I have ever taken in my life!! Celebrating our 10th anniversary and my 40th birthday(Monday 3/28) in French Polynesia is still just incredible.
