Mom lived in Irvine.
Sister lived in Redondo beach and San Diego for 20 years.
I lived in Newport Beach.
I worked in Irvine.
We all came here from Cape Town, South Africa.
Does that clear some of the mystery.

Dr. Cruiselove,
Tell me about Capetown. A few of the LCT lucky ones will be on safari in April. We are the ROAR Team landing in Capetown for a week before moving on in style to Singita. Anything we should know?

Well I've been lurking on this thread and its getting funnier and funnier by the hour to say the least.
Joanna - you guys must have booked a couple of segments on the 2007 WC right?
I'm so envious of all you people going and planning so far ahead. Boy, Frank thinks I'm a planner -- wait till he meets some of you on MUSH!
Dr Cruise - here's an idea - why don't you and Heidi, or Miriam, or Nicole or whomever, sign up for MUSH so we can meet you ahead - Joanna, Karen, Marcie will all be there - you guys can meet ahead of time, plus you can have all the MUSH'ers in for a cocktail party and show off your yummy cocktail dresses!!
Your sister lived in Redondo Beach? I grew up in Manhattan Beach!!
This is certainly going to be fun to watch as it evolves over the next year and a half!!!
BTW Dr - we were just on the Voyager, and met a couple in the Grand Suite - they were in 1006, and we didn't get to see it - but she raved about it for 10 days, especially the bathtub in the solarium area - I'm like Pam, like my bathtub in the bathroom with all the other bathroom things, but this girl thought it was wonderful, said she loved sitting in it for hours! Don't know if her Butler ever popped out of the closet while she was there Pam - but if he did, she wouldn't have thought anything about it - she was definitely something else - funny as hell but something else!
Can't wait to read these posts - its almost as good as Marcie's posts when she is on a cruise!! :D

Hello Again, I am researching MUSH now and will let you know. If I do get the GS on the WC07 you all are invited to have many cocktail, dinner and dress up parties with me and or us anytime. This is going to be so much fun. Will you all be okay if I tell some jokes that might have to be told with mild profanity?? I also have an idea about the bathtub, I can take reservations for whomever wants to give it a try. I promise I will be nowhere near the room so you will be 100% safe. Please just leave a nice gift as you are vacating the premises. <img border="0" alt="[vhappy]" title="" src="graemlins/icon_vhappy.gif" /> Suzie I am sending it again. Okay I have to go operate. ![[Linked Image]](http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/DrCruise/bag.gif)

If you are serious about the 2007 WC, you will definitely want to take a "cheap" Radisson cruise first (MUSH or ?) to get the 5% onboard booking discount and the "7 Seas Society" discount. That is a very substantial savings!

The Alaska cruise looks like it could work. That is great advice for some savings. What does MUSH stand for??? Thanks for the help. Dr. Normal ![[Linked Image]](http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/DrCruise/Iheart.jpg)

Dr: A while back folks started naming their cruises using clever little acronyms. I direct you to this link for more. MUSH stands for Mariner Under Starry Heavens.

Dr Cruiselove - you know that 2007 is 4 maybe 5 segments, so you could take each of your lovely ladies, Heidi, Nicole and Miriam on one segment - course don't know what you'd do for the last one or two if thats right - but hey its a suggestion.
Glad you are considering MUSH - it would be a good intro for you. :D :D

Hello, That is the best suggestion ever!!!!!!!!!!!. I can recover on the last 2 legs and be the onboard entertainment. Alaska looks pretty good at this point. Are there any cruises before that you guys are doing?? I sure like the warm climate better. I need some advice on a few other topics...should I ask my new friends here for input?? So, sign on for Alaska (MUSH) and you will be legit! Lots of warm weather cruises before, you just have to search them out. Ask Ngaire, and she will find them for you.

Claudia you eliminated one of my major concerns. I like that everyone drinks alot...whew....but at around say 10 P.M will I be all alone on the ship because everyone will already be in bed??? I am worried about this scenario....maybe Petlover and hubbie can keep us company. Everyone have a great day at whatever it is you do. Cross your fingers for the Doctor...he is trying to move a $12 million property today. ![[Linked Image]](http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c371/DrCruise/L_ESPR1EPS.jpg)
