Does anyone know anything about this line...I am interested in going to FIJI and I was wondering if a cruise on this line would be better than staying at a resort?

I have no personal experience with this line, but in email correspondence (on another board) with a local Australian, where the line is headquartered, it comes highly recommended. Another line, Captain Cook, does a similar itinerary -- have no info on that line.
Take a look at Smithsonian Journeys for the ultimate Fiji trip.

We went on their 7 day cruise and loved it. It is nothing like RSSC of course. It is very informal. Because of the size of the boat you get to go to alot of small anchorages. It was fun meeting people from different countries. You really get to know the other passengers. Bette

I would like to go back to Fiji and stay at Turtle Island. We were in Fiji for 3 weeks so we also stayed at a few resorts.Combining various experiences is the best. If you do the Blue Lagoon the 7 day is the best to do.

We were on Turtle Island for a week in 1989, it was heaven. I'd be afraid to go back now, because I'd be afraid they had modernized it too much. When we were there, we went out fishing at night with the native Fijians, and had a kerosene lantern in the bottom of the boat for light. Every evening, a lantern was delivered to the door of our cottage (bure) because we'd need that to get to the open air dining room.
Back in those olden days, the Blue Lagoon Cruises would sail past but weren't allowed to dock. I don't know what they do now, obviously.
