Voyager is currently in Southampton, was supposed to leave at 6:00 PM their time. A couple of passengers are reporting on CC that departure time has been pushed to 11 PM but it hasn't left yet. According to these pax, no explanation is being provided for delay. Link to CC post: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1426101

The ship was making 18+ knots from Bordeaux so if there is a problem it is a recently found problem; like what happened in Athens last year.

Looks like Voyager just left from Southampton bound for Amsterdam; apparently skipping Brugge.

Read the cruise critic board from the link above and am laughing out loud. I never go to cruise critic any more because no matter what happens, the sky is always falling on that board. As most of us know, Regent always comes through when there's a big problem and in this case it doesn't look like it's much of a problem at all if the ship is underway.

I have just deleted all the posts below this point. SERIOUSLY many of you may not know but a thread very similiar to this caused me a great deal of trouble a few years back. As a favor to me I ask for no more comments here at all and if there are more I will simply delete the whole post. You know this is an usual act for me to undertake so please respects my wishes on this subject I would appreciate it very much.

Marc, I wouldn't for a minute quibble about facts. This thread is indeed a conversation among friends. Some conversations among friends are best conducted privately. That is what email is for. Now I am all for open communication on the message boards as you know. And I encourage everyone who is part of this conversation to keep it going. We'll see what happens.

To my knowledge no official word but on the cruise critic thread there is an assumption that I also feel is probably accurate that this was caused by the Port Authorities not allowing the ship to sail. Scoot over there and read the details. Nothing wrong with the ship.

Having read the CC posts it does seem to me that some EU regulations requiring mandatory rest time of certain crew were about to be broken, and I am not suggesting that this was on purpose please note. Same kind of regulations that prevent bus drivers from driving here (in Europe) for more than an 8 hour day.
(Ngaire - I hope this post is OK and won't get you into trouble! I wouldn't want that!!)

Any post relative to the issue at hand is PERFECTLY okay. Just nothing that is negative or argumentative toward ANY individual person. Basic rules of this board from the very beginning.
This can be any person that is mentioned by name or in a way that it can be determined to whom the poster is referring. THis includes a poster even with an acronym either on the CC boards, or another board or the LCT board.
