Hi - Can anybody tell me if they have stayed in this cabin and if so - what did you think...This will be our first cruise ever and I am a little concerned about being sea sick...any information on this cabin location or anything else you can tell me would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you are doing a standard PG cruise you do not cruise much in the week and are parked a lot of the time in a lagoon. Using the ship like a hotel. So I would not worry too much about the sea sickness issue.

738 is midship but there is a vibration that starts at 742 and moves forward and back a few cabins. Not sure why it is there but it is there.
Not a big thing but if you can move a little further forward it might be better

We've been in 719 twice and never noticed any vibration. Also, there is a small advantage of being on the starboard side on the standard 7-day cruise (odd numbers) because you may see the dolphins swimming along side one of the legs early in the morning. Not a sure thing though.

As Ngaire said, most of the cruising is done while you are asleep on this itinerary, so it is very unlikely that movement will be a problem.

You will love the cruise, and I think you'll get a lot of use out of your balcony.

We just got off the PG and were in cabin 706. One night there was significant rocking and rolling causing my wife to become sea sick. Overall, not bad but the ocean is unpredictable and the winds can be strong between the islands even though the distances are not great.
