Tomorrow we anticipate itineraries will be posted for Regent for the last part of 2021 and early 2022.

KLT is creating a list to book as soon as the bookings open on August 7th. We also have to select our hosted cruises and as soon as I have an idea of what I am doing I will let you know. I have not been to the Greek Islands in a long time and the Black Sea is opening up again and I will be doing that for sure.

I also wanted to let you know I am working on a Galapagos cruise on the new Silversea Origin that looks fantastic. This will be in the early part of August 2021.

Always fun to decide on new adventures and as USUAL it opens JUST as I am leaving town but I will be all over it this weekend. You have any cruises that appeal to you email me or post here so I know where your interests lie.

Black Sea is June 20th- July 2nd - Istanbul to Athens. My plan is to come to that cruise post the Nyala safari.

Okay Helen will definitely look at that. I have done that cruise and it was good - particularly Madagascar with those delightful lemurs. That is where I bought my zulu beads everyone likes so much.
I hiked the jungle the first time if I go again I am going to the touristy spot with all the different types of Lemurs. I also want to go back to Abu Dahbi at some point.

Definitely interested in the new Silversea Galapagos ship though August might be too close to the Crystal cruise in September. We might have to make a decision and pick one or the other--unless George wins the jackpot on one of his big cases! And I would love the Black Sea as well. So many choices.

Galapagos will first part of August, Each cruise is 7 days and I am doing a back to back. However, 7 days may be enough anyway. The Crystal Endeavor will be end of September. Still close for people like you that are working.

Ngaire, are the three in 2022 segments of the Mariner World Cruise? When will those itineraries be listed?

Well Marc I saw those on a giant overview but they are NOT on Regents web but the SFO - SFO Mariner world cruise is listed but no more details. Have no idea when that will come out but the bottom line is I will probably not be approved on those sailings so I took them off my list. Will have to look at other options.

Helen, that is a fantastic trip! We did SPICE a few years back Dubai to Cape Town and it was absolutely wonderful. Your itinerary is slightly different (no Tanzania or Kenya (which we never made it to) or India) but you get to a different place in Madagascar and to Mauritius and Reunion Island; should be absolutely fantastic.

We're interested in the Galapagos cruises. We're also interested in either the 16-day Buenos Aires to Santiago cruise on January 15, 2022 or the 19-day Santiago to Buenos Aires cruise on January 31, 2022. Both cruises are on the Voyager and include a pre or post cruise land program. The 19-day cruise includes three days of scenery cruising in Antarctica (worthwhile?), while the 16-day cruise includes society savings.

I'm confused, when is the Galapagos cruise - August 2021 or 2022??

Thanks, Marc. I would have liked to get to both Kenya and Tanzania but am pretty excited with the itinerary as it is. The cruise actually appears to leave from Abu Dhabi where we have not been rather than Dubai where we have been a couple of times so other than Cape Town we haven’t been to any of these places. More pins in the map!

Dave - Antarctica drive by. All depends on the weather. We did that on Mariner and all we did for 3 days was sail around the Elephant Island area. Truly a waste of time and back and forth on the Drake Passage. The passage was not bad at all either way. BUT another year I hear they got as far down as Paradise Bay that would have been well worthwhile. NOT like a true Antarctica trip -no walking with the penguins but the scenery is great.

Helen - Abu Dhabi - LOVED it and only been once before. Have always wanted to go back. So happy we are departing from there. Kenya and Tanzania putting a pin on the map considering all the safaris you have done. The lemurs were a highlight for me. It feels like such a long time since I have been to Cape Town and night or two there sounds great to me.

Chameleons were amazing as well.

Would love to do Galapagos, and the Black Sea too. But, we are already booked on the Grand Asia Exploration for spring of 2021, and that will zap our travel budget until mid 2022. Guess we will have to wait for more cruises later in 2022 to be released!

We’d be interested in the cruise to Mozambique, Madagascar etc. Lots of new ports for us and seeing the lemurs is a bucket list item for us. Sue

Tom & I are on both the Crystal Tulips & Danube cruises and the Crystal Endeavor Expedition Cruise.

You are right Cindy. Seems like I have been on a treadmill since that opening. I am on the way to the airport now to fly to California. The Galapagos is official now have a spreadsheet of people waiting for the opening on October 3.

I like SAIL great name. That cruise was cancelled in favor of an event at Clays house in October, 2020. Going to contact Kathy who came up with that name and assign it to another cruise.


Will be back to this project next week.

For sure - SAIL is a really good one! And "Sailing Altogether In Luxury" could go with just about any of the cruises!

I am going to use SAIL for Crystal Endeavor expedition trip September 28, 2021.
New ship so should be very luxurious.
