Right now there are 4 of us and we could have 6 split $75.00
OR we could have 8 and split $100.00
OR 10 of us could split $125.00
In other words $12.50 per person. + tip
Grand Beach Hotel Surfside-West to Port of Miami
around 11:00 / 11:30 am. ??

Because of luggage I reduced the number of people per van so
we can get everything in. LOL

Looking at EAGLE WINGS TRANSPORTATION
They do have a 14 passenger I guess we could also look at it if there are enough wanting to go.

Joan and I are interested in riding with you. We're shipping our large luggage to the ship so we won't take up much luggage room.

Tonight on PBS - Nova there is a program about building the Explorer. 8:00 pm MST. Assume it would be 9:00 CST
and 10:00 EST and 7:00 PST

Thank you for the reminder, I enjoyed the NOVA documentary about the Explorer, I would have missed it without the reminder. Looking forward to being on that ship. Angie

Here is a list of restaurants that are walking distance from the Grand Hotel.

Ragazzi - Great Italian, moderate price range and a local favorite. Reservations needed.

Makoto - Japanese, very good, in the Bal Harbour Shops.

The Grill at Bal Harbour - Great American, ribs, burgers, fish, and steaks. Also at the Bal Harbour Shops, and reservations needed.

Carpaccio - Italian at the Bal Harbour Shops. This is the place to see and be seen. Lots of celebs and good food. No reservations taken.

Le Zoo - French/American - great food, across from Carpaccio at the Bal Harbour Shops.

We live in Bal Harbour and these are the restaurants we frequent.
They are all a two or three block walk from your hotel.....ENJOY!!!!

Yes Jim, they are all within walking distance of the Grand Beach Hotel Surfside West. The East and West Grand hotels are across the street from each other. All of these restaurants are 2 or 3 blocks from the hotels. Try and go to Ragazzi one of those nights, we eat there very often and we think the food is wonderful.

Pulled them up on line and they all look great.
Café Ragazzi is 0.1 mile and 3 minutes
Rest are 0.4 miles and 7 minutes
from Surfside - West.
We arrive MIA Thursday evening at 8:14 pm and was worried about finding a place to eat. See most of them are open until 11 pm.
