 River Boat Cruises anyone?

When we were on AMA river boat cruise in October, we loved it and did an onboard booking. We're way too busy in 2016 but may be considering a 7 day Danube cruise in the Fall 2017 on one of the newer riverboats...maybe between Prague & Budapest (with a pre/post land stay). We've never been to Budapest before but hear wonderful things about it.
Anyone interested?

Marcie - I might be. Already have 2 big ticket trips booked for '17 and still not certain where my finances will finally land, but please keep me in mind. You know I've been trying to get to Prague for years.

Marci , Jerry and I would be interested! I spent 1 day in Budapest and I really would love to see more and I have not been to Prague. So depending on the dates, we would love to join you.

We too might well be interested. We have been wanting to do one for a very long time, but could not find anyone to go with and it might just work in 2017 as we only have the MIA to VCE cruise in March booked, and it will depend on several factors, but please keep us in the loop and in mind.

This is the itinerary we're strongly considering: http://www.amawaterways.com/blue-danube-discovery-2017Going by their itinerary it leaves the USA on Oct. 6, 2017 (or you can go earlier) arriving in Budapest on Oct. 7. You get on the ship Oct. 9. You disembark and go to Prague on Oct. 16th and fly home on Oct. 19th (unless you want to spend more time in Prague). Great info Marcie, we really are interested but leaving for NILE in two weeks so our minds are on that right now. Have you booked it yet? Or just looking at it? The new ship looks lovely, we might be interested in the lowest balcony/french balcony cabin, what are you looking at?

Definitely interested in this trip, Marcie. Working on Jerry but if he decides not to go ( we have 3 trips already booked in 2017!) I may bring a sister along. Let me know when you are ready to book

We have done Prague to Budapest and Budapest to Vilshofen, both with AMA. Really enjoyed the newer boat on the last cruise.

Did Budapest to Prague in 2014, and Amsterdam to Berne in 2015, both on AMA. Really enjoyed Budapest, Patricia got to sing at 3 opera houses ( Practice rooms). Highly recommend.
